I didn't intend for what I said to be rude, but I can see why it could be taken that way given its context. A few of my posts regarding that have magically disappeared into the void, presumably for being off topic. Which removes some of the context surrounding the comment .I apologise for any confusion. To stay on topic:
Actually did this ages ago but here's a taster of things to come. My exams finish tomorrow and I'm itching to get back to blender!
More progress on the Pigeon XL has been made! Various meshes scaled and put in their correct positions, and other minor issues fixed. Still have to sort out node weights and the redesigned front suspension that likes to explode, but I'm having a blast testing it with a stupidly powerful test engine.
I now tried to make ponsse buffalo (3D model from spintires mod) but the flexbody isn´t showing correctly. Can someone help?
First official mod for this game. Nothing special, I just added tires I made for an RoR project. Need to start learning how this game works. This will not be re-released as it will only be a vehicle for testing/learning purposes only. I will post progress pics with added content I've previously made unless Darren/Dennis-W say otherwise.
It's a whole family! All versions now stable and drivable! Scaling node weights and beam values by 1.7 globally worked flawlessly, and now the tires on the widened steelies don't explode. I found and fixed the problem causing the redesigned front suspension to break too. Now I'm going to sort out some new engine configs and see what minor adjustments might help make it more drivable. New test videos coming soon! Edit: Quick "Drop Test" video
seems a bit light though, you might want to add more nodeweight to make it deform realistically --- Post updated --- looking at the size of that thing i think it would have some pretty thick and heavy metal
It already feels like a lumbering beast to drive, so I'll leave the weight like it is for now. Nothing is really final yet, so I'll see what works best.
Im trying to revive this thing. I got permission from ThreeDTech21 as well. so far i have scaled it down so the roof wasnt as high, as that looked a tad funny, made it color selectable, added/textured the headlight glass, and made a heavy wip headlight glass damage texture
