@Magic_Sowap You are not allowed to in this thread. But you can use the picture icon and paste the link there. It will embeed the image with the text.

I'm happy to see you are using my preset. Did you try the smoke mod too? Try drifting with it!

The polygraph is here lol. Yes in this thread that is the only way. In others you can embeed it with the URL as I said. But I think it's only if the thread is yours. Is this explained anywhere? It's kinda confusing.

 

It's not confusing. You should always insert using the thumbnail.

Across the forums as a whole, upload your image as an attachment, click the insert thumbnail button next to the attachment and it will embed the attachment straight into the post as a clickable thumbnail.

Simple.


Inserting by the URL you should not be doing in *any* thread, not just this one. While a single picture or 2 in the intro of a mod thread would probably be fine (the ruling aint strictly enforced), it should be avoided. It consumes extra server bandwidth needlessly and some end users have issues with their connections and loading anything other than thumbnails. its better for the server to be distributing thumbnails only, then if someone wants it fullsize they can click to download and view it fullsize.

 

It just gets messy with 874 pages of expanded images. Also, having thumbnails means the user chooses what he wants to load/see.

 

Very simple indeed now that you explained it. Users should be informed of this, even more if a ban is involved...

Yep all that I know, it's the part of what is allowed and what is not about sharing pictures in posts that confused me because it's not explained.

And seeing that warnings are almost a lottery, I was concerned about bans, as they are related to the first ones.
