I've been running 2 diffrent cars at full RPM's for the past hour now. The temps of the cars are still at normal, nothing has basically happened. If anyone could make a mod that would actually make the temp gauge do something that would be awesome :D

    Engine Thermals are not public...yet.

    Stay tuned! :)

I remember there's one in More Features Mod. Not sure if it still works.

ill be upset if its not implemented properly unless i can turn it off. running an engine at hi rpm for a long time is not going to overheat an engine unless the cooling system isnt up to the task. your more likely to blow up from oiling issues. ive seen more spun rod bearings at the track than even blown head gaskets. i trust they will get it right tho so far so good.

Spun rod bearings is going to happen at any time, depends when the bearing is ready to go. Doesn't necessarily mean always high RPMS = spun bearings.

on a race track one of 2 things will happen to spin a bearing no matter how new it is. either you turn hard and the oil in the pan moves to one side leaving the oil pickup to suck air, or after several laps or miles on the hiway the oil gets up to a temp that it becomes thin like water and lacks the viscosity to support the rod and main bearings. external oil cooler along with a baffled pan if your using a wet sump system. look up a system called accu-sump. they work wonders and the concept is so simple. in case your baffled pan isnt enough.

    Yeah...

    I'm not sure either... xD

On Topic: It would be cool to have engine temperature simulation soon! :)

I saw on a post somewhere from a dev that it is planned and may be in the works..
