This has nothing to do with such a car though. The legran is a cheap FWD family car pretending to be a luxury car, whereas the cobra is a RWD sports car.

This reminds me of my grandma's old, '93 Oldsmobile 88 Royale. They don't look the same, but they have the same characteristics, mid-sized, American, front wheel drive, V6.

Those look too deep-dished and "muscular" to be standard on this hunk of garbage.

This car is not far off from having a driver with a cow boy hat on, a couple of missing hubcaps, deteriorating body trim, an interior reeking of cigarettes and the driver is an Clint Eastwood want to be.

How many FWD cars with a V6 from the 80's have you seen turned into hotrods?

I think he meant a sporty version, from the factory.

I would assume so... or at least a version trying real hard to pretend to be sporty.

Durring the time period that this thing would have been made, US car companies were pulling their hair out trying to figure out how to compete with imports for the low end economy car market. They often had Japanes engines in them. A lot of these kinds of cars had both "luxury" varients, and ho-hum "performance" editions, often with some famous name slapped all over them (Shelby put his name on some pretty boring cars with expensive V8 options). Gabester knows his cars pretty well, so I'd assume we'll see something like that for this vehicle.

the taurus sho was an astonishing car when it came out and the omni GLHS was extremely quick, same with the spirit RT.

Do you see my point though? Those are all boring cars trying desperately to appeal to a wide by offering an absurd performance package. They're all definitely cool, but they had no reason to have ever existed. The GLHS you brought up is exactly what I mentioned (minus the V8), a Shelby modified Omni. I'm not sure what Beamng's equivalent of Shelby would be, but this is all blind speculation anyway. The devs never fail to impress with their official vehicles.

Considering the release years of the latter Dirty Harry films, there probably is cinematic footage of Clint Eastwood driving one of these types of vehicles.

Edit: Holy hell, there actually is. And in the strangest car chase in the history of film, no less:

How about some more cheaper looking wheels, with plastic hubcaps that just fall off when the vehicle hits a speed bump.

I could imagine this car becoming the car with the most configs and parts you would be able to get the boring base model all the way to a luxury model complete with a landau roof, digital guages, air suspension and everything in between.
now lets reproduce that scene in BeamNG.
