Betatester submitted a new resource: 2000 Gavril Roamer Facelift (and Other New Roamer Parts) - Extra parts and configurations for the Gavril Roamer. Read more about this resource... I have a list of things I can add or improve for the upcoming updates, from the year of feedback this mod has received: I've recently seen a few requests to create a limousine Roamer, not entirely sure how that would work, but I'll give it a try. Tailgate lights look odd. I'll create more variations of the tailgate with rounded and square lights. Headlights look odd. I'll try to create some kind of "all-in-one" with new mesh and textures to supplement the three-part setup already in the mod. D15 part swap. Something I already started way back, and still needs some work. I tried including a partial "preview" in the latest mod update, but I pulled it out since there were material conflictions. I'll see if I can fix it. 3.3L Boxer engine. I have no idea what this is, but I'll find out sooner or later. Independent rear suspension. Request from a long time ago. Not sure about this one, but I'll try to make it work. And below are some additional configurations for my Gavril Roamer Sport mod. This pack cannot be released with the core 2000 Roamer mod though, and here's why. There are parts included in this 2000 Roamer mod that are compatible or exclusive to the Roamer Sport, and when it is installed, those parts become readily available for you to use. But parts configurations will always appear in the vehicle selector, and if either of these mods is missing, the configurations spawn incorrectly. So I release it as a separate pack of configurations here. Have fun crashing!
its perfect mod the roamer looks like a 1995 ford explorer --- Post updated --- please make an old roamer whith the pickups front and crome bumpers
I agree. The Roamer must have been in production along with the D-Series. Could a pre-facelift Roamer be a good idea?
Possibly, but according to the wiki page, Burnside was defunct in 1985, so I'd have to make an old Roamer from that time period and I don't have that kind of modeling skill yet. Yes, I just now did this, it's very work-in-progress.
That is cool. Maybe D-Series mirrors and doors can be added. You can probably make your own D-Series rear door too!
I think the 2000 XT trim should get the nicer 6 speed automatic transmission. Otherwise, great to see the awesome parts from the two door Roamer!
Replying from the review section, I'd be down for the Sport being released, kinda drove that more than the regular version to be honest.
Also replying form the review section. You misunderstand me, the mod is interesting, but I feel like the changes are a little too subtle. I do like the newer taillights, and I like what you are thinking about the older gen Roamer with the pickup front. It's a good mod and everything works, but I feel like there is not enough meat on the bones to give it a better review right now.
It wouldn't be realistic. Ford didn't have a 6 speed for the expedition till 2007, the gm clones got one in 2009 Also, if you could round off the corners of the sunroof and make it bigger, that would be great
I think rounder edges might make it look a lot better. It just doesn't look much different than before. A bit like this maybe (the rear could need different lights as well though): Hope this was helpful.
