But my pi is on my desk and by definition is a personal computer. So what's the distinction here?

Its a personal computer. You still aren't making the distinction here

    Fine. http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php

There is a much clearer distinction you can make, either from a technical perspective or even a more common terminology one. I am just waiting to see how many pages it takes you to realise.

I have a cheap PC: go to the city dump and look for one that works. There you go.

Ok, I feel like this comment section has become a little bit salty and I think I am a bit responsible for starting it (*cough cough* raspberry pie *cough cough*). What simonfrat123 originally meant is a funny pc build from one of those pc building sites like pcpartpicker. There is no reason for all this hate.

Or he could have just said a windows compatible PC. Simple.

Either way, I raise you the 163CAD build with an HP Stream 7. I paid equivalent of 149.63CAD for a functional windows (8 at time, now 10) "computer" including a year of office. This was brand new from microsoft store.

I actually bought my computer (used) for $4. It was fully functioning and had a slightly broken copy of Windows 7 installed. Since then, I've upgraded it to what it is now...
