Car should overheat faster when its on roof

    Imo it Would be much more realistic if the engine overheat way faster when the car rolled on the roof and you still give trottle..

    yeah but I was thinking on the lines of oil simulation like when you flip over the crankshaft bearings looses lubrication which in turn wears out the engine, thats why you cut out your engine quickly when you accidentaly flip over.

    To be fair, I think that oil simulation is pretty low on the realism priority list. Some things like fire damage and aerodynamics are more pertinent at the moment. On topic, Why would you WANT your oil to over heat when you are upside down revving your engine? Why or how would this make the game substantially more realistic? How many cars do you see on a daily basis that are resting on their roofs and have seized up because of oil starvation? I'm guessing less than one.

    Hhhmmm how do u rev engine upside down in real life :cool: so i think that the engine should stall when you are upside down:D

    an engine wont stall by being flipped upside down...

    Ahh they dont stall i meant that it should just work like normally :rolleyes:

    mechanically it works normally. However the oil wont flow down through the engine into the oilpan and to the feed for the oilpump so the engine will become oil starved and fail that way.
