    Hi,
I've had BeamNG drive for a long time and recently I have downloaded it on my other computer yet the sound isn't working so I have read through all the posts yet there isn't one with my certain issue.
There is only ALOpen Soft, no other options.
    Please help

Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive and delete everything.
Launch game, go to Options > Audio and make sure audio provider is set to OpenALSoft and that audio device is set to the correct thing.
Also make sure the game is not muted in the Windows Sound Mixer.

If it doesn't work still, Steam probably didn't install OpenALSoft. You can do so by downloading and running this: https://www.openal.org/downloads/oalinst.zip

    Hi,
Thanks for the information I reinstalled OpenAL and installed it and made sure that it wasn't muted on volume mixer.
I also set it to play the sound through my speakers but no sound is coming out, it isn't saying that any sound is coming through on the windows sound mixer too.
    Thanks,
    Hackett

I'd suggest a clean reinstall at this point:

    Follow these exact steps:
    -Unistall BeamNG from Steam
-Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from MyDocuments (backup your mods if you want)
-Delete BeamnG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common (If there is still a folder)
    -Reinstall BeamNG.

    Hi,
So I reinstalled the game and deleted everything but sadly it hasn't fixed the problem,
do you think running it in Admin would change anything?
    Thanks

Can you please take a screenshot of the OPTIONS > AUDIO screen and post it here?
Could you try reinstalling OpenALSoft by running it in administrator?

Sorry for this question, but you never know..
Are your speakers on and volume not set on zero? :)
Are you using a specific kind of speaker/headset (Some headset, like Razer ones, comes with a program that controls everything they do).

Go to the BeamNG.Drive directory (Steam/Steamapps/Common/BeamNG.Drive and run Support.exe. Follow the instructions and leave here the number it gives at the end.

    Your ticket looks fine.
The game logs reports everything correctly.

The device you are using is a headset right? (The post above is confusing between speakers and headset)
The headset uses an USB connection or the standard audio jack?

If USB, can you try another device that uses the audio jack please? (Unplug the USB headset first).
