the sho sold quite well when it came out and is still available today. i'd much rather choose a 1989 220hp 5 spd taurus over the 1998 140hp 4spd auto taurus i have now. there's plenty of reason for fun family sedans to exist, and no reason for them not to

 

Oh wow... those things. There is no way to make them not look cheesy. Especially the chrome ones.

 

I was wondering if you could give this car some hydros in one of the versions?

I think the LeGran should have a cornering lamp, which is a little light by the bottom of the front fenders which illuminate to provide extra lateral illumination whenever the turn signals are on.

Also, such cornering lamps are "steady burn," meaning they don't blink like the turn signals, but rather stay solidly lit.

 

My grandma's old '93 Olds 88 had that.
It's to the right of the headlight. The turn signals were on the bumper.

 

those could be used on most of the cars in BeamNG not just the le gran. maybe have a range of different aftermarket hubcaps. these would be useful for the campaign mode especially if you loose your current ones or say if you buy a car without oem ones.

 

Looks like a Buick from the 70s that failed the market because of its ugliness.

 

One reason for them(or any other sporty car) not to exist is because you'll never really be able to use half that power so all it really does is force you to be more gentle with the throttle.

 

There's more to fast cars than top speed.
Having good acceleration, good handling, a good sound, etc. are all important.
Having lots of power and torque makes driving alot easier, and throttle control isn't really difficult unless you have parkinson's in your feet.

 

I wasn't just talking about top speed, almost every car since the 50's has had a higher top speed than you would ever get to achieve without breaking the speed limit, but honestly how often do you ever get to take a corner faster or better than an old land yacht would be able to or accelerate faster than a old economy car?

 

A new sports car will definately corner better at any speed than an old crown vic, for example. The sports car will give you better feedback, more grip (for more secure cornering even at low speeds), and overall a more fun experience.

As for acceleration, an old 50hp economy car on the highway will still get to 60MPH, but it takes 10 minutes to get to that speed, whereas in a more powerful car you can get up to speed in a shorter time, and stay at that speed.
Also, more power means you don't have to mash the throttle and redline the car just to be able to merge onto a highway.

This isn't really a ricer car, the covet or 90's pessima would be better choices, this would be better for a donk variant.

 

in the uk youngster or chavs do this to cars like this or hot hatches so they take there grans car and rice it out its called a chav car or p***y wagons.

 

I know but this car just seems a bit too nice to be a chav car.
