I am working on this to be better than ever!
2 years ago I started this having no idea what I was getting into. I have learned a lot and am reviving my favorite and biggest project. Unfortunately, the old version is just too broken to fix so I found the original Russian version and am starting there. The good news is now I have a cleaner slate to work with and can now proceed to do things in the proper order. The bad is I have to do a lot of work. First I have to remove scalenode since that messes everything up (DONE), then I can start working my way through the new features added to the game since the Bronco was created. That means I have to add fire(WIP), skin support(NOT STARTED), thermals(WIP), custom global wheels(WIP/DONE), couplers(DONE), powertrain(WIP), power adders/tuning(WIP), and sounds(DONE). Once this is done I have several donor models I am using for more parts. I have 3 other variants of this Bronco model and an F150, I am going to use the Bronco models to replace missing parts and add options and the F150 is donating its wheels, cab and possibly a shortened bed to make a custom off-road config. I may also modify some parts from the D Series to fit(brush bar/bull bar, roll bar, running boards, flatbed, and off-road bumpers)(D SERIES PARTS WIP BY @sjbphoto).
Hopefully, I can get this done properly and we will have another quality mod, it is not going to be anywhere near as good as the oldsfullsize or the Dodge Cornet since I am not as skilled as them but we will see what happens.

I have wanted to get into the modding community for a now and I finally found something to help me learn how to jbeam. This 1980 ford bronco is very detailed and up to date for a mod that came from world of mods and is mostly correct with a few exceptions. The good: it can change color, it is very detailed, and has few missing textures. The bad: the truck needs fire, the thermal simulation, and possibly more parts. I need help with all the textures and modeling work since I don't know how, making more parts (I'm open to suggestions!) and adding fire and thermal simulation.

I know that there is many russian mods but theyre really really really really really really bad quality mods and theyre not worth fixing and you also has to credit the orginal maker but this model might been stole thousand times and its hard find the orfinal maker and russians are stealing mods from this site and NOT crediting the orginal authors and if find a way make mod to high quality mod and what will happen is russians stealing your work and NOT crediting your work and just saying that its theyres own. And theres also this site which says that they own BeamNG http://www.beamng-mods.com/page/3/

But hey think about that the russian website claims that they own BeamNG Drive. Is that cool?
This is what Nadoex said on other russian mod fix thread: Since the mod is not yours, please provide proper credits on the original author (and possibly get written permission from him to edit and re-release his thing) and specify where the 3D model comes from (IIRC that mod is using the 3D Model from Driver San Francisco).

This doesn't show up in the vehicles menu, have you packaged the files correctly?

I am converting it to pressurewheels right now
    --- Post updated ---
Does anyone here know the size rim and tire that are on this truck because in the wiki it said to take wheels from the game and modify them to fit your application. I'm having a hard time finding the proper size wheels and tires for the bronco to upgrade it to pressurewheels or should I just add the Lbeam tires and see how that works. in the meantime I will TRY to make the cap detachable. If I fail at that maybe could someone at least start it for me and I will try to finish it. Just remember that in the title that I need help and don't always know what I'm doing.

No, not cool, but that should not scare OP from modding. I do agree that he should give the creator proper credit, and maybe a written permission.

I've used this and it's one of the best "russian" mods out there. This comes from a great content creator, and it's all his work.
Honestly there's not much you can do to improve it, I'd have picked something like the Lamborghini Aventador which is truly dreadful.

That's why I picked up the bronco. nice simple big 4x4 what's not to love

If someone would give me a hand making the cap detachable that would be great because I've spent nearly 3 hours and all I managed to do is break the truck. Good thing I had a backup. The cap needs to be detachable because i think it adds strength to the body and if i tuned the deformation now I would have to re tune it later because it would be weaker than I want it to be

I can definitely help with the textures, and possibly the issue with the cap grouping issues and proper rim and tyre diameters. I'm not so educated on jbeams and the physics modelling, but I'll see what I can do.

Most of the textures used are actually quite true to the actual vehicle, spare some of the colours like the white interior. I also managed to fix the glass, the jbeam had a typo for the file to reference in the textures folder which I rectified. Will see about the lights and other textures.

Me too! Why else do you think I am trying to improve this with the help of others besides the fact that it is a descent start.
