When you get older, if you make decent money I have one piece of advice. Don't get married. Instead, get a maid, and a call girl. Your house will be cleaner the sex will be better and it will be MUCH CHEAPER in the long run. All jokes aside it just means it's much easier to hook up with girls and you just need to look a little harder to find one worth dating.

Those who are closed minded and hate this company or that company without trying their products first. -For example: I don't like Nvidia because I've used Nvidia hardware and don't like it. But at the same time, I find the sub-reddit /r/Ayymd cancerous because I bet that 90% of the users haven't used Nvidia hardware. I have an irrational dislike for Android, which is leading me to at least try it, so I can either have a rational dislike or "see the light" and love it. Molex connectors; who doesn't? Case I/O connectors; this needs standardized right now. The fact NAS hardware is so damn expensive: I need to build one, and I don't have $2000 to spare for a proper, well done NAS.
The fact that just about anything that gives you really good performance is so expensive that you don't want to spend the money on it.
All sorts of "Advanced" Technology in automobiles nowadays, Touch screens, on-board computers, auto braking, auto parking, self driving cars, crazy amounts of useless sensors, stupid plastic car parts, car TVs, Apple car play, very expensive needlessly complex headlight and tail lights. . .
Why? It's true. Infotainment just makes already mediocre drivers distracted. OT: Am I the only person who thinks that snapchat was originally meant for sending nudes?
Most people barely even pay attention to the road even with no distractions, which is why I think its stupid to make it illegal to eat or use a phone while driving, if people aren't paying attention to the road anyways why not at least let them do other things while driving.

I find people like you almost as pretentious as the people who are on social media all the time. Instagram is a waste of time, your friends are about 2 years behind on that trend, but there's nothing wrong with snapchat. Snapchat isn't really the typical "social media" where you put your life out for everyone to see, it's more of a messaging thing. I don't see it any different than texting, only with pictures. If they're your friends and you enjoy their company, then you'll probably enjoy what they send you on snapchat, and if they enjoy your company, they'll probably enjoy what you have to send them on snapchat. I don't know man, young kids that get some sort of superior feeling by acting like an old, out of touch grump kinda piss me off. Also, only chicks send pictures of themselves on snapchat. Download it, make an account, and use it a little before you hate on it. One last note, stop posting about middle school so you can forget it a little easier after you get out of there.

Yeah. Car culture will be wiped out for the simple sake of convenience and technology. It makes me angry thinking about it.
There will still probably be "sporty" of some cars that are only filled with tons of overly aggressive driving assists that pretty much drive the car itself but give you slight control like a lot of newer cars already are... at least until nonself-driving cars become illegal because of safety regulations...
Yeah, but its the margin of human error, the danger factor, that makes driving, especially driving older cars, so much fun.
2 random things I hate: Programming. No, seriously, FU*K programming. Particularly machine code. Nothing is sacred to programming, because java is a harsh mistress and lisp is like trying to unravel the mysteries of the universe. I realize that all tasks on a computer are difficult until somebody writes a program making it easy, but I still don't like having to do it. Ten-year-olds. Remember the days when TV commercials advertising websites or other online products to kids always had the line 'Ask your parents for permission to...'? I do. I understand that the Internet is a powerful tool that should be available to everyone that wants to use it, but many aspects of the Internet simply require more maturity than most children can muster. I freely admit that I am not one to talk on the subject of maturity, but many websites need enforced age restrictions. Also, I am tired of kids calling me a fa**ot. THINGS THAT MAKE IT WORTH IT: Too many to list! But my top 2 are music and porn. MUSIC. Do you realize how hard it was to listen to music in the 80's? Sure, there were walkmans, but those were limited by the tapes. Tapes can't shuffle, are quite large, and don't have very good storage density. AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON MIXTAPES. Now I can play any one of my 500 songs in any order I like, or if none of those tickle my fancy, I can jump online and choose from any one of ALL THE RECORDED MUSIC IN HISTORY, or at least an appreciable fraction of it in SECONDS. PORN. Do you realize how hard it was to find good fapping material in the 80's? If you were lucky, you didn't have roomates or parents to stumble upon your collection of filthy magazines. but even then those magazines could be pretty difficult to find, too. You actualy had to get off your couch to find some quality VHS tapes at the depraved hobby shop down the corner, hoping you didn't run into your b0ss or pastor. Now you just open a private window, type in what you like, unzip, and enjoy yourself.
