its very important to have good sounds in a game. the sounds in ROR are terrible so i hope there will be a big improvement. not only the engine sounds but also different surfaces and tire noises, brake sounds, exhaust backfiring, tires squeeling, bunpers cracking, crash noises, windows smashing, wind noises, maybe background noises, maybe a different exhaust note, when it comes off or breaks, grinding metal on a surface, etc etc, . i hope you guys pay enough attention to the sounds. maybe we get a little preview?
Well the cars are better then ror so will be the sounds and particles so better sounds and particles with is smoke and staff like that.
Yes, the sounds will be much better than RoR, and physics-driven - everything from wind and tire rolling noise (dependent on the surface you're driving on) to dynamic creaks, squeaks, and rattles, as well as awesome crashing and smashing sounds. Engine sounds are TBA. We may approach them in a more simulated way (a la Live for Speed) or they may simply use different engine sound samples as the engine progresses through the RPM range.
About awesome car crashing and smashing sounds, how you gona record them? Like in that way, which are shown in those videos?
Sorry for bumping this thread, but if I'd made a new one, people would get mat at me saying the're are already threads talking about similar stuff. Are the current place-holder sounds going to be replaced before BeamNG alpha is released?
i think i read somewhere (i think gabester said it) that the first release will be with the bad placeholder sounds. would be great if they work a bit on the sounds, because the current ones are awful...
