Listen, there is such a thing as free will. And just because a person is of reason and logic doesn't mean that they can't believe in such things. As a physicist, it's when my beliefs enter my work is when it goes too far.
It's because they are unique in a way that is not found on public mods, for example, the Karin Asterope. Sure, there is the Blista Compact, but the Karin Asterope is one of 3 vehicles ported over from GTA V.
It's free will. We have to have a choice of whether to follow Him or not. I believe it's actually the people pushing AI that want to take away free will; one of the end-goals of the project is to create a machine that can "think on the fly" in the context of its job but not really outside of that, thus removing those pesky humans and their rebellious tendencies from the low-wage equation. Something like computerized opponents in a video game is a little different, and better, as long as that's all the further it goes; when AI starts driving us to work, that's sheepification, when it starts trying to emulate humans "in the wild", that's where it gets bad.
See, this is the type of attitude for mod creators that I hate. But I don't have the skills to convert the Karin Asterope from GTA V to BeamNG.
That's not being a Christian. That's being a backwards-thinking technophobe. Completely unrelated concepts. Why? They're making mods for their own enjoyment and you're not entitled to them. If they decide to share, cool, if they don't, too bad, it's their mod not yours.
How is that not being Christian? That has nothing to do with being a technophobe. Even Steven Hawking thinks AI is a dangerous prospect, and he's made up of computers!
You know the reason why I am being selfish? I have ADHD, and I have had it since I was born, and people with ADHD never understand the consequences of their actions because they're always forgetting all the time.
