PS4 and XBoxOne support?

Just had a quick question, is BeamNG drive playable on a console, or is a console too weak? I know that it's not out for the console but I just to want to know if they will add it in later since this is still in early access

 

I don't think consoles aren't good enough hardware wise I could tell you whats wrong with consoles and BeamNG but @BlueScreen is more knowledgeable then me at this sort of thing.

 

Yes, I know that there isn't support, but I am asking to see if it is possible to add support in the future.

 

Wel i heard the xbox and ps4 is getting an upgrade ps4.5 with better vr support so maby next year orso

cpu is major bottleneck not to mention non capable gpu

Well, the PS4 and XboxOne can handle Star Wars Battlefront :/, that's a game with A LOT of detail, I can play it on my 960m with Ultra detail at around 45-55 FPS

 

Yea but battlefront is gpu intensive but beamng is cpu intensive its like geforce titan on a pentuim 4 and then thinking why its slow

 

that's a game that runs 720p 60fps on the xbox one and 1080p 30fps on ps4 with a mere 55 degree fov and a huge amount of motion blur to cover the texture pop in on the consoles. Go check it on a console, your 960m is probably running it better than the consoles did. It looks awful on a console, is not even equal to pc high.


cpu wise both consoles have AMD apus clocked at less than 2ghz. Amd single thread performance is already too low for beamng let alone at under 2ghz, even Intel will struggle when clocked that low

 

In addition to what 6677 said the maps in the new starwars BF are tiny, swbf2 had bigger maps and even the ones of the psp did AND they had space battles on the same map with more players...

 

Because BeamNG.drive is too awesome for the PS4 and Xbox One.
