On Hold Nissan Silvia (RS12) / 200SX / Gazelle

Hello everyone,

I after some progress with this model i decided to make a thread to dump my progress in.
constructive critisism is very welcome since this is the first complete vehicle im trying to model.

I own a Nissan Silvia so this will work good for the reference i need.
first im planning to model my car (the silvia s12 mk1 with a ca18et engine).
after that is done i will probably focus on making the other versions like the mk2, the special GP edition, Rally version, the coupe and all the special parts different regions around the world got.

the progress will probably be slow, since i always like to take my time and do other things, so please keep that in mind.

once again, constructive critisism is very welcome since im still a novice at this .

 

The car looks like its done well but the roof is a bit too long.

 

Part of it will be the tailgate . Only did the top of it now.

 

LOL. I don't even know how to 3d model in blender. I respect this. Looking really good right now. You should have the popup headlights. (maybe always up, because it's probably hard to make them go up and down.)

This one looks cool. I don't care if the headlights are popup. just a suggestion.

dont worry. it will be pop up , all the S12 are, and i want to do it propperly ofcourse :3

Did you stopped working on your 200BX mod? BTW Looking great so far.

 

nope. i already had started this a little while ago. i will just be switching between all my mods whenever i feel like it.

For the sake of researched ofcourse .

This is one of the major reasons S12's werent popular with modders. The shocks and wheel hubs are 1 part.

today i took a little break from studying and really felt like modeling a part of the rear suspension.
and this is the result

 

do you will make also other engines (ca18det, Sr20det, RB25DET...)?

 

first i will do the CA18ET, CA18DET, and the FJ20ET.
the original options are the main priority, when that's finished i will see further .

forgot about it. but that also includes the following engines: CA20E, FJ20E and the VG30E

 

slapped the model on the coupe to see how it would look ingame at this moment.

 

Are you planning a ls1 swap or ls3? Alot of people nowadays take the silvias and turn them into v8 missiles
