Forgot to say that it's about 3D-performance in the article. Seems like integrated graphics in modern Intel-chiips are really good actually. And mobile GPUs crap... Whatever the hell is the iGPU in Skylake CPUs is, I meant.
Well, my main system just died. It flashes grey/black before the login screen. In fact, it never gets to the login screen, it just forever flashes. Epilepsy warning, danger to manifold
The only live USB disk I have is a Windows 10 installation disk. I suppose it'll work? If not I have a spare disk I can install Porteus on.
Should work just to see if it starts, if it does you can also try clean installing Windows on a new partition.
A friend of mine just agreed to buy my asus pro64j and my hp elitebook 8570p for 500€ so i dont beed to upgrade it im going to upgrade my old Desktop PC
Really? How much RAM do you have? I haven't seen BNG ever use more than four gigs, if you're going over that something might be wrong.
8GB, on some of the bigger mod terrains I start to have problems with stuttering 100 mile house caused my PC to lock up whilst it was loading once. I still think it's a memory leak problem with BNG.
errm, BeamNG is only using 1gb there. Look underneath it, you have a different issue... That and are you sure all 8gb is recognised, because 1gb+1gb = 2, and there cant possibly be enough sub 100mb tasks to make up the other 50-60% RAM used there
System and Compressed memory should never be nearing half a gb let alone 1gb, you have something else up on your PC and it aint Beam.
Check all of your RAM is recognized by the OS, I've never used more than five to six gigs total, ever, with everything fathomable running. BeamNG does have a memory leak in the latest version as I see it, but not signicant enough to use much RAM. Something's up.
All memory is present and accounted for. BeamNG is legitly the only program using over 500MB's of RAM
Isn't that a bit overkill for whatever CPU you have? Water cooling is for intense overclocking and top-tier enthusiast processors, but for a locked multiplier i5, you don't need water cooling Still, it's your choice.
