Hm, so it seems like that 240 was bottlenecking me. R7. 240.
And I think your CPU might be bottlenecking you in many games, after all it's even worse than an FX-8320, though not much....

i used to run it at 4.1 and recently backed off to about 3.7 ghz and notice no performance difference. i probably am being bottlenecked, but i can max witcher 3 minus the bullshit options that do nothing but halve performance. ill probably upgrade for the zen refresh, or if it sucks bad enough ill go with whatever replaces skylake i guess. i have at least a year left out of this setup but to be honest, it could be another 6 or 7 years unless someone makes something worth upgrading for. id pick up a second 290x for vr tho. crossfire will supposedly work nearly perfect considering AFR wont make constant pacing problems.

Well it works in games without much of a CPU demand apparently. Also, what clockspeed you are running those things on doesn't seem to make much of a difference anyway.
Don't need Crossfire anyway when you have that good of a card. And if you need more power, it'll be so far in the future that a single 690X will be the weapon of choice.

    Iiiinnn theory.

i wish i knew the name of it but my cooler master tower cooler works really well. usually bigger is better. most of the younger power users will tell you to get an all in one liquid cooler but im old school. youll hit 4.0 on air easy.

I m not a fan of watercooling because if theres a leak it does damage the hole pc and air doesn't tend to do that

Couldn't agree more with that, depending on your luck in the silicone lottery you may even get 4.6GHz on air.

I just found out that the 6600k and 6500 have pretty much the same price so im going with the 6600k because it has more power so i need a good fan because of this

The Hyper 212 Evo is hands down the best budget CPU cooler you can get. Stock form as a single 120mm fan on it which will be adequate for a 6600k, though a pair of Corsair SP120's can be added as an upgrade in future.

Hmm just bought my first Razer product, blackwidow 2014. Not bad, clicks are good and the build quality seems good. No backlights but i think i manage. Got bored of Corsairs back light. They were either brilliant in color and flickers or not good colors and no flickering.

Hyper 212 Evo. Go and scream it into the world.
Here's a high res picture I got off of the internet so everyone will know what it looks like. Many people here equip it with dual Corsair SP120 fans to make it perform better.

How will a Q6600 and an Nvidia 750ti perform in this game?
When i Upgrade my computer i am thinking of building my friend a computer for his birthday With the left over parts. It is going to be realy cheap and has to be able to run Gta 5 and BeamNG.Drive:)

Unless you overclock the hell out of it a Q6600 won't perform very well. It's low clock speed results is poor single core performance which BeamNG relies heavily on.

Actually the CM Hyper 212X is a little better than the 212evo. It's got a better fan with a slightly redesigned heat sink so it has a 2c or so advantage at the same price. It's very similar overall but it's a better buy if you're getting it new, not worth upgrading from an evo to an X of course.

Yeah a lot of people don't really know about it as it's only a revision really, I only learned of it via a review a few days ago.

I second this. I put SP120's on my 212 EVO, and it made a good couple degrees difference. It's an extremely good cooler for its low price.
