Update Speculation thread

No. It's for speculating what will be in the update.

Have to devs made a deadline for when they will release the next update? No. Then why debate when it will be released?

 

No we don't we talk about upcoming features and whatnot so that official threads are not filled with useless discussions.

Is there any chance that devs will release the new update when the MOD support meeting start?
(i know the qa version have already got a update today)

 

the qa version gets an update most days... thats really not news

 

If the qa got an update probably means that the public version will not have a update that day

 

On the wiki page changelog is the current version marked in green, but there's an option in blue for future updates! Why put the devs no stuff, which is already done, in it?

 

I put that color code in there, and "blue" is reserved only for confirmed new features/content/bugfixes (i.e. progress reports), things which we are not 100% certain of yet.

And speaking of which, the devs are being a bit more secretive than ever on what's going on with the game. We haven't had a full progress report since before 0.4.1.0, and yet so much has been accomplished in the past months, but we only get a small glimpse of what's actually happening from dev screens and micro blogs. Why can't they create a PR some weeks before an update is released like they used to always do?

 

Well there is the something is on the horizon post, which will probably reveal a lot about the future of the game and company.

Who else thinks that the ETK 2400i and the Ibishu Miramar will be in the next few updates?

 

Well, by using the ambiguous "next few", you're not going to be wrong...

We've been surprised before at what took forever to come out, and what was released almost immediately after being announced. If I were to guess I'd say that the Miramar is a good bet for this coming update. You never know what roadblocks they will run into though.

 

I think developing this game is harder than developing common racing game, i think a whole D15 weighs like 10 Forza Cars in term of polygonal model, BeamNG is also a small team even if it's growing, i've got some hype but 4 vehicles are in development (at least were shown) etk coupe, h45 ambulance, miramar and 2400i, it seems like a good deal

 

But why they bring a new car (ETK Coupe thing) befor they finish other cars, like the LeGran or Wendover, which i like more.

 

They May have finished the 2400i And the miramar ( both of those where on my number one list since day one 2012/2013. )

And they might only need minor work to be done. ( 2400i And the miramar )

As for the LeGran there are rumors of that being in-game ( as wheels )

The Wendover and the rest will be out when Gabe and the Beamng Team are ready.

I think the Wendover will be a cool car.


But i like the 2400i And the miramar. Then Grand Marshall. Then Barstow ect.

And the update may be out after that mod meeting. Maybe during the week. Maybe next week. Only time can tell. ( it's hard to wait i know ) But we will be rewarded the more we wait.

Also two cars at the same time are very unlikely. As there have never been 2 cars at once ( bar the 200BX and Roamer ) But there has been cars that have been released near the same time as the last car.

And if They released 2 cars at the same time they would have to do 2 trailer video's. But maybe they will bless us.
