I'm so demotivated for it now after destroying the UV map...oh wait, just got an idea for a fast fix. Motivation back . Oh it's probably a good idea for all my mods . True. Making it two door is also pretty fast to do though.
I'd planned to have like 2,3 projects running at one time so I could swap once I'm bored of one...it's like 7 now since I'm helping others getting thier mods done...#thuglife. But I got days free, time to finish the Miramar widebody, it's almost there. Next will be @danielon398767 's ute, I only have to take a look at parts of the model. After that I'll finish the covet sedan since , then the swagimma (wagon pessima), and after that finally the Scalota, coupe and convertible 800. And between all this is a Saab I do for @Johannes Tornblad , I don't think it will become public though since it's just the bodyparts from a model he found on the web swapped on the modern Pessima (+jbeam, I'm not that lasy), and I think people will consider that "russian mod", so I better don't make it public(?).
It's only considered a "russian mod" if you make it badly (which I certainly don't know you for) and don't credit the people who made the model (which I don't want to know you for).
In the models readme it says that's allowed to use it for games, you only have to put the readme in the mod you create. So that's not a problem .
I noticed the recently added chase cam isn't alligned properly. IF cameras work as they worked in RoR, which I certainly don't know but I see the possibility of, this might be caused by its reference nodes not being in an exact 90° shape anymore, which means you'd have to slightly move one or two nodes defined as the camera reference nodes in the cameras section in the jbeam to have the 90° shape back again. |__
The fact that it took weeks until someone noticed this shows me how many people use the chasecam . Yes, there are 2/3? reference nodes , I don't think that I've modified them though since they are somewhere underbody, aren't they? But I'll look into that . For the Scalota and Coupe/convertible I'll use the updated body.jbeam, so the problem won't appear there.
I don't usually use it, but I noticed when skipping through and thought it'd be good to tell I think the reference nodes should be somewhere in the chassis, but I'm not sure.
Hi Bernd, can you give me the information how to import or open files with the extension .jbeam in Blender ? You created quite a good mod, wow! Ciao Eli_Audi
Hi, unfortionaly blender, as D-Troxx already said, does not support jbeam import (it does support the export though), instead you could use the NodeBeam Editor that could be found somewhere here on the forums for that. I'll look for it quickly... --- Post updated --- Yes, there is an export script for it. --- Post updated --- NodeBeam Editor there you go, I love that tool .You could import an .obj as a reference mesh which makes it even more useful.
Yes, it can't detach for some reason. Gained some jbeam knowledge while creating the mudflaps for the Miramar widebody though, so I might me able to fix that now.
Good mod, i really like it but you say that you are working on a long version and i wonder when you going to release that one?
Tj There is very little chance that I'll do that, but probably based on the coupe, so it will take long until I do that. But maybe someone else like @danielon398767 might do it, he's also working on an Sunburst ute. Good question, but I have no idea to be honest. The mesh is finished, but I'll have to move all the suspension jbeam and stuff back the 15cm and do the textures.
