While adding glass to my vehicle parts of the other meshes turn to glass when the glass Beak Groups break. How do I track down the issue?

    Are your break groups closed?

Yes I added closed break groups and its still doing the same thing.

I don't know why the hood would switch color on break, glass is not even assigned to the hood, very strange.

I recall that the mesh that will change into broken glass must be a separate mesh.
If you got them all one piece in the hood, then it's turning the whole thing into that material.

I'll double check but I think they are seperate, it's strange because one of the wheels turns to glass but the rest of the wheels don't.

Also the material on the hood has the same material as the body but the body doesn't change.

I know it has to be a break group issue related to the glass but I don't know how to track it down.

Make sure you close the deformGroup after the glass mesh. Put {"deformGroup":""} after the glass mesh/before the other meshes that aren't glass.

Ok Ill check this, also if the hood or wheels have a defrom group that isnt closed could that be part of the problem?

Very good, it is fixed! I was closing the deformGroup in the beams section when it had to be in the nodes section as well, cheers!
