Re: The new licence plate system.


I'm sure it's already been considered, but will the text on the plate have a different specular to the background of the plate? GTA 5 does this and it gives the plates a much more defined and grounded look because they actually look like they're different materials/paint/whatever they use to make plates.

 

hope we get some different countrys but all the same shape

 

Considering we're getting license plates, I'll betcha ours would look something like this:

NOTE: 0ABC1234 is a format I came up with for these license plates.

 

Or CRASH33 for a different name. Or anything for a different name.

 

The developer thread has been on fire. I wonder if an update's incoming.

That's a California-style dark text on white background licence plate with an extra number at the end, right? I've not seen that style on any other place I've been, so that's what i'm guessing. If so, I've noticed heavier vehicles like trucks and vans have a plate that have the patter of #C##### or #####C# (#=number, C=Character).

 

...mmmh, maybe an Ice Cream Van mod someday...

 

If this has UV's, it would definitely have many different ways to customize this.

OMG *drools*. Would be cool if we could customize how the lights flash like in ELS for GTA

 

Anyone notice that the interior looks like it might be beige? I don't know if that is just some window tint but it doesn't look grey.

 

They have beige interiors already in game
