Decal road smoothing

    It would be awesome if we had a tool in the level editor like in the sim 3 editor where you can place the road and then smooth it out, this would make adding roads so much better and would mean custom maps would have better roads.
    The upcoming feature of being able to raise terrain to mesh road is useful and all but this would also come in handy.

    Decal roads are projected down to the terrain, they do not represent a 3d spline or so. Idk how that should work ...

    I mean that the area that they are on would be smoothed, this would be used to make roads that don't have bumps

    Ideally it would be neat if decal roads did what the new 'terrain to mesh' tool will presumably do. If the 'terrain to mesh' scheme is detailed enough I believe
    the simple efforts of putting decal roads on these mesh smooth terrain features will be quite awesome.

    yes the only issue with this is that the mesh roads are a bit bumpy so they would need a little work

    That was the "is detailed enough" part of my post;). If hand smoothing of mesh molded terrain is required there is no point in even doing it in my book.
