So today i was sitting at home, the weather is bad and there's nothing to do as my computer s being upgraded so i went to the basement and dusted an old computer, the one i used a while ago. After spending a few hours to update the os to windows 7. The once loved computer perform pretty well. Until i tried to play BeamNG Drive. The moment i tap the aceleration, the computer just over heat then shut down...
I got my experience now: Leave the old one alone.
Have any of you tried to do this? :)

My old one has the same stats with you. It had some upgrades a while ago (Graphic card, water cooling system, upgraded fan...) before i remove them to throw into my current one

    How'd the Steam install go?
No. It isn't. The 1080 hasn't even been released.

Have played BeamNG on a computer with Intel Duo E7500(CPU) and Intel G41(GPU) for almost a year, can only run grid map 12fps with all-lowest settingXD, it's kinda stable except sometimes blue screen

That computer isn't really old though, also only 6 years old

what is it with all these bullshit stories. Yes BeamNG is demanding, but a PC that cant run the game simply lags. It doesnt literally burn up, thats why computers since the 90s had thermal shutdown, nor should a computer on 100% load (even an old one) get hot enough for a thermal shutdown. Even then, they arent a combustible material and dont produce enough heat to literally go up in flames. I ran the game on a 10 year old PC, guess what, no fire, no smoke, sure it got warm and ran at all of 2fps, but that was it.

yes true. Literal only way for it to catch flames is because a) you set it on fire or b) it had things like wood shavings in there which are more likely to cause fire.

You will not find a PC that has self combusted without external factors. CPU load alone physically cant do it.
