    This thread is meant to collect feedback for version 0.5.6.1

    Known Issues list & Status:

    • Long vehicles loading times | Fixed in 0.5.6.1
    • 'Simple' Vehicle Damage App does not change/work properly | Not a bug - App is a work in progress.
    • Steering from controller won't work | Not a bug - If side menu is open, the axis will be used for the 'radial menu'. We are still working on this.
    • LODS do not work correctly (Objects in distance do not appear) | Clear your cache, the new imposters rendering need the cache to be regenerated in some cases!
    • Some cars may go on fire after a few second | Fixed for the next update

    • Game may not launch on Vista or certain 7 version | Known issue - For now launch the game directly from the Bin64 folder in the game directory.
    • Missing material on the old building & terrain hole in Utah | Known issue
    • PostFX button not working | Known issue
    • Reverse not working correctly on some vehicles | Known issue

    • AI not working | Clear your Documents/BeamNG.Drive/settings folder (backup any inputmap you dont want to loose). Then perform a 'Clear Cache'.
    • Lower FPS | If you use the 'Navigation App', remove it from your UI. It currently hits FPS a bit on lower spec systems.
    • PS4 controller not working | Not a bug. If you are using the 'DS4' drivers, disable them. We do not provide support for 'third party' drivers softwares!
    • Game is broken/Vehicles don't spawn/Camera stuck | Not a bug. If you use 'More Feature Mod', you need to disable it. As stated in the mod's thread, it will break the game at each update.
    • AI doesn't work | Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive/settings and delete 'uiapps-layouts.json'


    Launch the game and select 'Clear Cache' from the launcher.
    It will some of the folders in 'Documents/BeamNG.Drive' to 'Documents/BeamNG.Drive/backup'

    Launch the game and select 'Safe Mode' from the launcher.
    It will disable all your mods. Use it before reporting a bug, just incase your issue is caused from a mod and it's not an actual bug!

    We hit some major problems in the upload toolchain, fixing that still. Not live yet, sorry.

    Massive respect to you guys. Seriously. It's 4am where y'all are at and here you are putting out an update. Words can't describe your dedication to this game. You will be an early access success just like KSP.

    I am doing all I can to convince anyone interested in cars [ edit : automobiles... ]and video games to support Beam.

    This game is brilliant. Thank you developers, can't wait to play this.

    LOL happens alot. I've gone back to 7 countless times.

    Great Work Devs! The game is... realistic while unrealistically making it realistic...it's hard to explain. Thanks for making the best game of all time!

    So the indicator does not change in regards to the car you are driving., rear engine, rwd cars still show front engine, awd damage indicator

    Also seems that long loading times are back. Took nearly 15 seconds to switch to D Series on ECA, after already having loaded it.

    Whenever I hit Ctrl + R on gridmap when trying to set a car to spawn somewhere else, the game freezes. Mods are disabled.

    Not sure if anyone else has it, still might be on my end.

    Why does nothing load in distance from the car? Settings are almost at the highest quality.

    We have found the problem that is causing this already, but its not easy to be fixed. We are working on it though :)
