    Quick update v1.1
    • License plates!
    • Tow Hitch!
    • Tow configuration!
    • Betterer thumbnails!
    • Smaller filesize! (due to thumbnails)
    • Shiny Paint!
    screenshot_00059.png

So, just added some fixes to the materials so the paint is nice and shiny, and just generally looks better. Retuned the transmission shift points so the C-6 responds more correctly, added a tow package, license plates, etc...

Tow hitch is under the rear bumper in the parts manager.

Okay, I was told I couldn't host this mod officially, but I could post it to the forums. I meant to do this sooner, but finals have started, and I have very little time for fun or Beam stuff. I just tested it briefly in 5.6, and...chase mod is awesome :)

Here it is, play with it, enjoy.

You are only supposed to drop it into the "Mods" folder...

This was a russian mod? I wouldn't guess that while driving it, or looking at the jbeam. It's so different from any russian mod that I can say that it's yours now. It's really good!

I have noticed only one problem. . on the retired police interceptor version, you should fix the cigarette lighter.

20160601233918_1.jpg < there is a black line, beneath the dash. However this is very well done.

Sweet. Does this take care of the annoying lighting coming through the hood and trunk?. Thanks!

This is quite frankly my favorite boat mod, period. We need more of this in BeamNG.

The lightning is due to the fact that the hood and trunk have only one side of mesh, and are displayed as doublesided which means the lighning for the underhood is the same as the outside surface. To avoid that, Auntie will need to model side faces and the other side of the panels.

I was trying to figure this out and thought it might be something to that effect. I'll work on it as soon as I can.

Thank you for your attention on that!

I have an additional question I've been meaning to ask: The engine bay detail (the radiator and inner fender wells), are all black and have funky collision properties
that both spike out and interfere with the front grill. The grill will pass through the radiator and disappear. This really kills the fun of the front end in crashes. I have been
toying around with some of the jbeam collision settings and have had some success but I am not very well educated in the jbeam department.

Would it be possible to get that collision figured out? My intuition wants to say a self collision value is not right somewhere. I'm a noob but I really dig this car
and if there's anything I can do to help just say the word:cool:.

Maybe the radiator needs some back collisions triangles. This is indeed an improvment to make. Also all the front end attaches, (fenders, radiator, bumper) are a bit loose, all the parts separates easily in a low speed smash on a wall. But as i liked the previous blue version, this one is fore sure an improvment.

Yes, that bothered me too. I strengthened up the grill and all attach points and it got better. For the grill I noticed it was plastic and changed it to
metal as well as increasing the deform values, this toned down the 'disappearing' act behind the radiator. None of this is the proper way to fix
it but it still looks and performs better. The fenders will start to deform weird with the attach points set too high though.

i cannot tell you how happy i am that this mod is back and has been drastically improved! Absolutely excellent, i love just "wafting" around in this thing, if it was on the mods section it would get 4*/5. I would give a 5* rating if the dashboard could be fixed (ie: the indicator stalk doesnt move, and the indicator, parking brake, high beam etc lights dont work)

Interior cam felt to low for me so I moved it up a tad, the interior could use some more texturing, the tires pop to easily and the front suspension could use a bit more dampening, fells and looks like the front shocks are bad. Other than that I love this mod, we really do need more late 70's land yacht's in beam, theirs something so fun about thrashing them around.

its an american barge, the front suspension needs less dampening if anything!
