Can we change the .Jbeam file to disable engine damage?

I used to really enjoy bashing around in Beamng because I love how the game render the soft body physics and immaculate suspension actions are just amazing. But ever since the March update with active engine thermodynamic implemented, even until now with the latest update, the radiators still get damaged way too easily on unibody cars like the ETK's, Hirochi's and Ibishu's. A couple of small bumps and the cars are overheating is a big party-pooper. I certainly aware the "realistic" approach of this game, but having the options to disable engine thermodynamic or adjust steering speed would make the game even more enjoyable.

I really hope I am not posting in the wrong section, I also searched around but found nothing regarding to this matter. Thanks in advance

This mod sure looks great. How can I install it? I unzipped the mod and put individual file into each car's zip and the re-packed the zip and put them back to the Vehicle folder but nothing happens, radiators still gets damaged easily. Maybe I re-packed the file incorrectly?

    1) Download Zip
    2) DONT UNPACK IT - move it into Documents\Beamng\mods
    3) Open Game, press ctrl+w (without the +)
    4) Search for Engine, choose Super Radiator.
    Done

    Thanks for the heads up!

Got it. The mod does crash 0.5.6.1 on some of the cars, but I reported to the author of the mod already. Thank you so much for the fabulously helpful pointers
