Confirmation button to Clear Cache

Hi !

I think that you should add a confirmation windows after clicking on Clear cache because it is just under Play game, and a miss click is quick happened. And is a bit annoying to have to copie/paste our folder into the cleaned folder :/

What do you think ?

 

What? Why are you copying the cache? The game regenerates it automatically after clearing.

 

I don't think he means he copies the cache. The clear cache button also moves the other folders and files in the "Documents\BeamNG.drive" folder.

In fact is to avoid to clear cache unvoluntarly. Because clearing cache delete custom configuration vehicle.

 

you can manually move your custom configurations into the correct folder rather than leaving them in cache...

 

Custom configurations are in "Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles\vehiclename".
The clear cache button moves the whole "Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles" folder. Same for the levels folder.

 

yep and configs shouldnt be in there for long term storage anyway

 

I now agree with the idea (just been caught out by the button myself ). I see what you mean by how easy it is.
