Well, the title says it all.

I think the SBR4 would be a success, as it is very fast, yet quite cheap. It would gain many postitive reviews, which would help sales. Sorta like the Focus RS.

    And what do you think?

I have to say, as a Ford fan, the Focus looks way better. The Sbr4 drives good but looks ugly!

I don't see how the SBR4 would compare to a Ford Focus. It's a different body style, and completely different power class. The SBR4 is a shooting brake body style. The Focus comes as a sedan and a hatchback. The SBR4 can be considered a purebred Japanese sports car, whereas the Focus is primarily a family car, with optional sport packages.

but its not for real life, all the beamng cars might be based on a real car but they are all completly differen!t which makes this game special e.g. the pessimas are honda accords, they really are not

Yup, the SBR4 would rather fight against the Nissan 370Z/GTR, Porsche 718/911, Ford Mustang etc.

Yeah, it's like a GTR. It has lots of electronic gimmicks, blazing fast engine and it looks like it eats Porsches for breakfast. So my guess is it would sell pretty well.

Other than the awful looks, we are talking about an RR/RAWD Boxer TTC engine. I think it will do fine. I think it would be more of a Poor man's GTR.

However, that electronic spoiler should either be removed or changed for a static one.

Why? It is a common thing nowadays.

AFAIK, even the Audi A5 has one.

    Its not a "common" thing.

It is a thing, that's correct, but not common.

People who would rather have a lot of downforce would rather stick a real one, people who would rather have a high speed car (like the GTR) would rather not have it.

Its ok to have the idea to have one if you can do things like regulate its angle, speed of opening, speed of closing, etc. But as it stands the SBR 4 has a shitty spoiler and it would be cheaper to remove it.

Think about it, pick the base SBR4, a N/A flat 4 RWD only, remove the spoiler, a few interior modifications, cheaper rims, there you go, you must have removed at least 1/10 from its pricetag.

    And the car is ugly.

WAY too ugly, SPECIALLY that rear end.

Am i strange if i think the SBR4 is beautiful? It's by far the best car in the game because it has no real counterpart or real inspiration, it's just brilliant

Yes and no; In terms of performance it would be a hit, being priced around a porsche Cayman but being able to compete with faster cars, much like the GTR-35 but with a little less oomph so to speak due to engine size; It would be a more practical GTR. In the tuning culture it would do well, considering it has a lot of potential if given a proper racing suspension and a more powerfull engine; Hopefully the SBR gets some tuning options in stock Beamng as its design has much more potential to offer. In terms of look it would falter somewhat due to its practical, but love it or hate it rear roof styling. I feel a production version would have a slightly more rounded rear roof, even at the cost of some headroom. As much as styling can mean little to a car's performance it does have an effect on the average consumer and lets face it, those that would have the money to buy an SBR would often be looking for a stylish car with an ego that can back up its looks.

Overall its performance would sell but its styling, mainly based on the rear roof angle "corner" would turn some people away, though it would mean most who would buy it are coming for the performance with some practicality and less of a styling ego, for better or for worse.

Absolutely agree, low price, small engine with twin turbo, huge storage(the second row seat should be designed to "flipable"), it's going to be a really successful car

I think it (along with the rest of BeamNG's cars) would sell at least moderately well. I personally like how it looks, but there's no denying based on forum reactions that the styling is controversial. I think the performance makes up for it, though.

Or it could just be for looks? The one on the Bentley Continental, Mercedes SL65 Black & SLS, Porsche Panamera etc are most likely not functional but are just there to look good

    I totally agree

    Positive sides

-The design is unusual and simply beautiful
-The price is cheaper than most of the cars in same class
-Handling is better than most of the cars
-it can be used in daily life
    -its japanese
    -it has turbo
    -seating and interior is nice

    Negative sides

    -hatcback or coupe?????
-not enough boot space for travelling or going shopping
-cant see much from rearview mirror

I guess it would have moderate sales in real life. would be close to the 911 in my opinion

Also this car is my favorite car (both game and real life)

Also if beamng had merchandise i would buy the keyring, model kit etc... of this car
