This is an ~2000 Mitsubishi Galant. The model isn't made by me and the textures were inclueded but I had to apply them manually with blender. May it does not look like this but the whole car is fixed with the edge split modifier. It got two variants: A 1.8 litre diesel and a 2.0 litre diesel. All in all I worked a lot on this car and result is very decent. I know that some textures may look weired but I am no expert in texturing. Also it comes with nice; different engine sound. One part thats missing are workin gauges, I have chosen as a placeholder just a texture because I have no clue how to do working gauges (Im sorry but I have to still learn some things). The jbeam is modified from the old pessima and it fits pretty good. It also comes with a color changer and the lights / parking brake / pedals are working just fine.

    features at a glance :

    • Working Props (Pedals / Parkingbrake / Lights / Steering Wheel
    • Modified Jbeam
    • Exhaust / Fire system
    • 2 configs
    • Color changeble
    • Custom sounds
    • Dynamic Reflections

    Bugs :

    • No gauge lights / needles
    • Jbeam sometimes spikes a little bit
    • Some textures doesn't look that good

I think its everything said, if you have any question or so just let me know ...

none of that model has been edge split, very obvious from looking at it. Somewhere on the forum is a guide for fixing edge split with the stock BeamNG meshes, might be worth following.

No, your entire mesh is purely made of soft edges, if you had applied edge split, there would be hard edges present.

Your left and right wheel offsets dont match btw. Minor bug that should be fixable. Offset is also a tad high on both sides as is.

I feel like the model was not a great starting point... I would look for a better model and give it another try. The more effort you put into it, the better the finished product will be.

The body seems to be slightly misaligned; the jbeam is being cut off on the left side and sticking too far out on the right side. I think that might be a cause of the spiking, but I'm not sure. Mainly bothers me because the wheels stick out more from the body on the left side than they do on the right. :p

Looks great, drives great, and deforms great! The custom sounds are also very nice. Just fix the rear flares and the gauges and this will be a great mod! :)
