I'd like to revisit an idea of launch control in the game

I would be totaly on board with that, but only on modern sports cars of course.
A great example would be to start with the SBR4...

To piggyback off of this, I'd like to see a trans-brake for the drag vehicles. They are used in dragsters to lock the cars in place and allow the driver to get to a certain launch RPM.

That would be amazing as well, and some bigger Drag slicks bcoz the ones in the game are a tiny bit too small :D (im a huge drag racing fan)
The devs should come here to see this!!

I think drag racing would be perfect for BeamNG, especially bracket racing. You can customize cars, only two cars on screen at once, softbody physics for chassis flex and tire expansion, etc. I really want the drag strip in the West Coast map to have a functional Christmas tree and timing.

Functional Drag Light Tree?? Im with ya on that!! 110% :D
And a way to effectively burnout and heat up the tires would also be sweet!!

So we also need a line lock as well. Won't be useful until tire thermals are added though.
