Upcoming PC Build

I want to build a Semi-Gaming PC But i dont know if this is good enough, or if i could change anything to make it better, Feedback is appreciated.

Everything seems fine. Except the PSU. 950w is way overkill for your system. I would go with a good quality 600w like this

 

Yhea i thought so, i might even go for a 750W if i decide to get another And crosfire them.

i5-3570k Oc to 4.3ghz
AMD Radeon HD6950 2gb (880/1250)
h100i
WD Blue & Green
and like 9 case fans.

and I run perfectly fine with 750w.

7850 only has one 6-pin, it draws 150W under full load, FX6100 is probably around 110W at load, everything else is say 100W.
Doing maths: 100+110+150 you get 360W, for crossfire that's 510W

Because you are going cheap on the PSU, a 750W powercool is probably 600W in reality, and 500W after a year of use. I'd recommend paying 10$ or so extra to get a good PSU (a 550W good brand is enough, they are 600W in reality) such as an Antec, Corsair, Enermax, etc; check for "80 PLUS"

Not sure why you want crossfire if it's a semi gaming rig, but anyway, instead of crossfire look at a bigger/better GPU; it's more efficient like that.

 

Don't go with a FX-6100. For the same price on Newegg you can get a FX-6300. AMD's zambezi processors aren't the best. They aren't bad, but they aren't as good as the Vishera series.

What's the clock speed on the i7 has well gen?

 

Erm 3.5Ghz it turbos up to 3.9Ghz the little brother to that the 3770K under quad setup can boost up to 4.2Ghz when it is rated for 3.9Ghz...its something weird about the turbo setup on the cores..

 

Whats your max budget? Depending on budget, you could easily get a Much more powerful graphics card then the gtx 660

here you go, about £36.74 over your budget though, and had to do a modular version of the psu, because the uk website didnt have the normal version listed

 

Yhea man im from the uk, thank you so much for the effort! im going to use 90% of that, only beacuse i already have a optical drive and a HDD, But thats so awesome, i actually ordered the stuff and turned out... THATS EXACTLY WHAT I GOT (except for th GTX 760, I decided to get 2 660's and upgrade when needed, ill pm you if i plan anything, ill post some pics of the finished product
