What you have there is a extended cab, what he is talking about is a crew cab...

 

I thought, they talked about dually rear wheels...

I agree with Atomix. Crew cab trucks have rear doors that are much longer than the rear doors of extended cab trucks.

Could you guys make a Roamer with extended body. Sort of like the GMC Yukon XL. Just a suggestion. Would like to see in game.

I hope there's going to be more engines for it period. I'm guessing the 4.5 liter is kind of like the 4.6 Modular of BNGD, so now we need an equivalent of the 5.4 and the Super Duty's diesel and V10 (though the appearance of the D15 seems more Chevy-like to me, so perhaps a bigger V8, a really big V8, and three diesels, with the most powerful being a turbo version of the second most powerful, would be a more appropriate scheme - though that would throw off the Roamer's connection to its real-life analogue and call into question why the Grand Marshal doesn't have bigger engines).

 

I don't think the D Series needs a bigger engine. The D series needs to stop trying to be what it isn't. It's just a light duty pickup, equivalent to a chevy S 10. Everything from the frame to the body design screams light truck. The tow hitch being a little metal tongue sticking out from the frame, and not being a part of it, the front bench seats, the narrow body all are something you would expect to find on a light truck. The current gavril lineup should stay intact, but a whole new chassis/engine combo needs to be added for larger more capable trucks and SUVs.

 

Diesel should fit this american pickup well

 

The D15 is a half ton, full size pickup truck from the late 80s/early 90s.
It's far bigger than an old S10 or a Ranger.

No, it shares its frame with the Roamer, the H-Series likely has a separate frame from the two.

I think the problem with discussing this is that too many people are looking at this truck from a more international point of view, which isn't really correct for the truck.

It is a light duty truck, but not a mini-truck. Anything from a half ton to a one ton is classified as a light duty truck.

As it is it's very close to being done, first and foremost it desperately needs a long bed, then some 8 lug SRW wheels, and possibly a crew cab, however the crew cab isn't necessarily required, as some trucks never had a crewcab option. (88-91 Chevy trucks on the GMT400 platform, the crewcab was still on the 73-87 Bodystyle, and 94-02 Dodge trucks never had a crewcab at all.)

 

I also believe it needs a more robust tow hitch. The hitch itself is just a small piece of metal, hanging off the frame, and wrapping around under the rear bumper to the ball. It is a very weak design when compared to similar trucks, where the hitch is a part of the frame. For crying out loud, my mom's minivan has a more robust hitch.




I know the two frames are hardly comparable, but It just goes to show how much more durable most tow hitches are.

 

That can be said for just about every vehicle on here, Nothing has a proper receiver.

Also, I just thought about it but the pickup doesn't have a proper step bumper, The Roamer "sort of" has one, but there's no place to put a ball.

 

If we are getting technical... This needs a crawler variant... Body cage, cut out fenders, the whole nine yards
