Looks good but it is defently not worth 25Dollars. I mean you pay that money to pre order a unknow game that doesn't even have real gameplay videos about it. That's like buying clothes without knowing how they look.

Will be like another Flatout, just tweaked deformations and fancy graphics.

BeamNG and its 15$ are more worth.

Oh well, I didn't the game is from the flatout devs. :) That is more promising now.
But there "softbody" physics still look pretty weird and hard. Like a very soft version of the grid damage.

Looks interesting, but in my mind, not worth $25 right now.

I'm sure it's fun, but its not worth the $25. It really doesn't even look softbody. Just looks like fancy gta4 crash physics.

I have a feeling that everyone saying "not worth it" is just saying so because they're on the BeamNG forums...

I for one love the look of NCG. I probably won't be preordering but it's an almost definite buy for me. The damage looks like the perfect blend of realistic and fun for gameplay.

the crashes almost look like GTA IV's crash physics, which is bad

No one ever said that it has soft-body physics... Go to check their web site, not a word about soft or body.
Looks fun though and going to pre-order, loved the old Flatouts.

Dude... it's not a realistic demolition derby game. it's way over the top. Just so you know.. It's totally arcade. I was hoping for some real derby cars... with realistic derby parts... But nah, they just listen to the ADHD 12 year old Russkies. Just saying

christ, guys. give it a rest. NCG is not a simulator, its a car game they're making for fun. I like the Flatout series and computers still aren't fast enough to use NG's physics to pull something like this off. hell, I have to overclock to comfortably simulate 6 cars in BeamNG. Maybe one day it'll be possible but this is a good alternative for now :p

The "ROMU" engine sounded funny for me. It's Finnish and equivalent of scrap or junk. Don't know why, but it's hilarious to see someone explaining of the engine without knowing what it means. :D (like they would be using some shitty engine that doesn't work)

    Other than that, looking good!

They are going to to make it a bit like Flatout 1..

And I think it's very good thing. Also I have been playing Flatout 1 in online in last few days with my friends..

If the "Next Car Game" will give same feeling than Flatout 1.. it will be very good game.

Damage modeling will not be as "realistic" than in BeanNG, but it's also different game, so it's not a bad thing.

    Few screens from the trailer

That's not the spirit of this game, it's meant to be over the top. I'm all for racing simulators but there are some genuinely good arcade racers out there and FlatOut is one of them.

It's quite spectacular watching parts come off in a crash

This crash into the tyres looked very cool in the video

After looking more into the game, I'm seriously thinking about dropping the 25 bucks for it, but I really need to save my money as much as possible. I don't have a job during the winter so paying for gas for a big gas guzzlin truck is gonna be hard.

I'm honestly curious why you Americans stick to cars that consume so much fuel you measure in miles per oil deposit. If you're in a position where $25 is a big ask, why do you run such a vehicle?

its the only car I have available to me. It was my dads, but he gave it to me for free. Its either spend 3000-5000 bucks on a new car, or keep a truck I only spend around 100 bucks a month on. When I get enough money I'll definitely invest in a car. I really don't like driving a big bulky pickup truck. Its nice for the 4wd winters with a foot plus of snow though. Plus we need it to tow our ski boat, haul dirt, rocks, mulch, etc... Can't exactly tow a boat with a mini cooper or mini van :)

Edit: most Americans have pickup trucks because they need them though. A lot of farmers around where I am. Trucks are pretty much essential. Always towing things, hauling dirt, rocks, mulch, equipment. Most people don't use trucks as their daily commuter. Guys who drive big trucks around without a "work" purpose are just compensating for something. And I'm sure you can figure out what they are compensating for XD.
