my new pc is now beeping when i start it is that normal? Its a long beep than 2 short ones the mainboard is a MSI Z170A Gaming pro Carbon I hope it isnt something serious
I've got a 780 the Asus reference model with the metal stock cooler. It's slightly overclocked. Reason I bought it is because of my compact case with only one output fan. The stock cooler blows the hot air out of the case, in contrary to most aftermarket coolers. Works good for me! Temps vary, but max. 70-72c during GTA V when overclocked. Mostly mid-60s in gaming and relatively silent. 28-32c during browsing/idle. For my needs a perfect card. Google it. I had something like that too. PC didn't boot, and some beeping noises. Checked the interwebs, reseated the RAM and everything worked fine again.
The beeping is a code, one long two short means theirs something wrong with your graphics card I'm afraid.
oh thats not good i hope it wont die too quick because i just spent all of my money on the new mainboard and processor and so on
I have 3 nvidia cards with stock coolers. Two 760 and one 660. They cool fine too. Never overclocked though. Why did I buy them? I prefer that look. I think it looks better.
so i changed the 750ti for a amd 380x from a friend and the beeping is still there i also put my old one in again cleaned the contacts and the beeping is still there maybe its something else? could it be a faulty cable or something else completely. also all games run normal exept beam sometimes has black shader problems but i dont know if it is beam itself.
Just reinstalled onto a m.2 ssd. My old install was complete crap and threw errors and other problems without me provoking them.
I've used those at my school. They've got them left over from when they were widely used. That Alt Gr key is fun...
Could it be that IBMs and Siemens Nixdorf are better than some mechs? Also Cherry ftw now that both those manufacturers don't exist anymore.
IBM doesn't need to make keyboards anymore, they never break. My Model M is from 1987 and if you had handed it to me in box today as a brand new product I would be none the wiser.
That's impressive. Like I said, the only keyboards that can do that apart from IBMs are Siemens Nixdorfs.
