Update Speculation thread

Anyone remembers swimming pigeon with barrels and rotor that teased some time ago

 

That was most likely a personal mod.

 

my biggest wish: Wake up tommorow, check alerts and see: Tdev created the thread 0.6.0.0 Update

 

It says What we are working on for the upcoming 0.6 release (this will take some more weeks) and beyond. Beyond is the part i Hate.

And the game now is 0.5.6. Now a mouth later would be ( 0.5.7 ) Then august 0.5.8. September ( 0.5.8 ) November ( 0.5.9 )

And then the 0.6.0 in December.

So that's about 4 mouth's.

( i know i got the dates wrong but am sleepy. and they update every 4-5 weeks so yeah sorry )

If i have to wait much longer i will go psycho crazy ( the dev are doing awesome ) But still lol

 

Next update will most likely be 0.6

 

yeah that's what i mean. If there skipping updates and doing the the 0.6. It may be September :[

 

Most of the feathres are ready or close to ready if they are trying to put italy in this update then we may wait untill late august

Don't get impatient yet, maybe after 2 years but not 2 months... Good is worth waiting and the good is the update. I wonder if the ambulance comes in it...

That's not how version numbers work. 0.x version indicates a large feature addition or a lot of changes. 0.x.y indicates smaller, more incremental changes. 0.x.y.z usually means hotfix patch. They're not mathematical. You can have version 0.5.11 and its valid. Likewise, you don't need to go all the way to 0.5.9 to get to 0.6

 

I think the update must be near as previously the devs have kindly stepped in to stop speculation whenever release date was still relatively far:

I also think that next update will be 0.6. That was the plan and would explain the extra weeks of development (altough if they find some dificulties with 0.6 they could release an intermediate version with the ETK and some minor improvements to keep us happy!)

 

This is proof that the update is 0.6.

 

Well everyone, stay calm. Just appreciate the fact that they are really careful about the quality of their updates.
