Well im trying to make a mod, a rim and antenna mod and i cannot get them right its rather Pissin' me off.. my rims are a mile ahead and my Antenna and push-bar fucked up my Moon hawk i am unsure how to do this.. if i could id pay someone, but as of right now i would appreciate any help that you can explain or help me through this.. now this happens!
Not really sure what your screen shot is showing but all objects placement is based on where they are in your modeling software before you export. If your rim is placed somewhere other than center in the modeling software then it will show up somewhere other than center in game. rims/tires should be placed at a position of 0,0,0 with the objects origin directly in the center, other objects (antennas and push bars for example) should be placed where they would be on the model. In order to do this correctly you should import the model you are trying to add objects to so you can place them in the correct positions. You can also place objects manually by adjusting the flexmesh position in the jbeam, but i wouldn't recommend it
So we figured out what the problem was about the additional part @Kgibson4 wanted to add. So here is part of the solution: We added in one of our last updates a modification slot, which is perfect for things like that. Will talk about it later on here Anyways, first of all I recommend you to remove the actual Moonhawk mesh, once you created your meshes cause otherwise it will overwrite the default Moonhawk meshes and stuff like this may will happen So in the end the scene should look like this (even if it's a bit desolate) Furthermore you should combine your meshes into a single one (each of them) and give them an unique name. You'll need the name of the mesh later on in the jbeam file. Now we need to prepare the jbeam. I recommend you to use an other jbeam as a reference and change the relevant parts in it. I copy/pasted the moonhawk_spoiler.jbeam. Rename the jbeam itself to something unique like moonlee_mod for example. Now open it up. I marked in the following capture the most important parts you have to change. moonlee_antenna: is the jbeam part name and must be something unique slotType - moonhawk_mod: is the modification slot, that I mentioned before. It's a slot where you can add parts, which doesn't have a separated slot yet. flexbodies - antenna_moonlee... : the flexbodies are used to link the actual dae mesh. Here you have to use the exact same name as in the dae file. Here the 'final result: You have to do the 'same' with the other part as well. This is just an example. And you definitely have to adjust the nodes and beams otherwise it would use the collision mesh of the spoiler
