Do it with turbo

 

It just went in the game today! Whether it indeed has a 2.4L turbo, I haven't heard yet, but someone could probably tell you.

 

Quite pleased to the fact that it has a working clock!

 

Keyed to the in-game time of day, or to your system clock like some older mods?

This car is absolutely fantastic.
The handling is neutral and predictable in all models except the Evolution and the race versions (obviously), the RWD is not very eager to break the rules, but can still lose the back under throttle, and the AWD models handle very safely with much less understeer than I expected.

The steering response is very sharp and it's easy to feel when you've lost grip, overall it handles and feels alot like a BMW (High caster, mostly flat torque curve for linear power).

I love the suspension, it's made for comfort on most models but still keeps body roll to a minimum (although there is a good ammount of it), I also enjoyed seeing trailing arms in the rear which I thought would have multilink (because german car). The soft suspension also gives you more mechanical grip and predictable handling (safety).

The interior is fantastic, very roomy and it reminds me of early 80s mercedes with the minimalistic but efficient style, and the working clock is probably the best feature (btw nice song you got playing, as if this car wasn't 80s enough ;p) and looks comfy as hell especially with the black and cream color combo. The digital boost gauge is also a really nice touch, and it looks very stylish despite the lack of practicality (no unit display telling you exactly how much boost you're making)

The engine has plenty of torque down low but not much power in the high range unless you put a turbo on it, and even then it seems to prefer the middle of the rev range, which is good for daily driving and comfort, it definitely feels like a big engine when cruising but the car's weight really slows it down in the acceleration department.

My personal favorite is the TTsport turbo with the manual transmission, as it's powerful and fast but not too much to handle unlike the Evolution which is batshit insane. When driving the evolution I often find myself not going past half throttle for fear of turning my brand new luxury sports car into a pile of distorted metal and shattered glass. Also, torque steer is present and very strong in the Evolution AWD and Rally versions.

The styling of course is the best part, it's not trying to be super aggressive with its low belt line and minimalist design, but still manages to look extremely sporty when equipped with a body kit, new wheels and a huge spoiler.

Felt like I just read a Car & Driver review, very good.

 

This thing is quick, tested the trap speed and the acceleration, it's nearly dead on with the modern ETK's. Almost a bit too fast in my books, but I always thought the modern ones without a turbo are a bit anemic.

 

After nearly 4 years, we finally have it

 

Will there be an I4 added? Like for a 2000i or 2200i?

couldnt agree more, my favourite is the 3000ix handles wonderfully, and accelerates good, feels a bit old, but its the kind of car that u would never give up.

I hope a race tuned 3.0l engine with ITB's will be added
