We have fuel consumption, replaceable parts, vehicle damage and a planned career mode where you buy a car and use it. I can't see how they could make the career work without garages and if you look at http://blog.beamng.com/creation-of-anna-the-mechanic/ it becomes clear that it is coming. Basically if it's an obvious suggestion then it has been suggested a hundred times already. Please use the search feature before making suggestions in future.
