Hey there I missed antennas so bad in BeamNG, but they are still not in the game. So I decided to make few antennas for all cars myself! I started today, so far I have this, will post with more later. WIP
Haha, glad you like it! Anyway, here is the update. I just made completely new model of antenna from scratch, because I wasn't happy with the previous one. I think it looks way better now.
Nice, COOL! There has been 1 before on arb's grand marshal mod and it moved around sometimes. Are you going to make it move a little or is it going to be solid?
Will definitely take a note! Yes, the antenna should move around as expected. Thank you! This is my first mod including modelling, jbeam and all this stuff, so I basically started learning yesterday. The antenna has kind of its own jbeam, I am still a bit figuring it out . If you are experienced at jbeaming you could explain it to me bit more
Yeah sure, I'd be glad to help, the game really needs this to be more complete . You could just pm me. You could use the "additional modification" slot for the antennas, that way you don't have to have new body jbeams that might be broken after a game update.
its the little details that make this game so good and now you mentioned it i can't sleep without the atenna's this idea is so "simple" but so perfect i want it so bad
Just a request, would it be possible to have a 2nd variant of the ETK I-Series antenna which would be mounted next to the rear trunk? Pretty much every single german sedan of that era had one mounted just like that and I think this would be more period-correct than a roof mounted antenna.
Look at this and use this for inspiration for the d'series. If you want more pictures of this truck look up 2005 Mitsubishi l200. my l200 has two antennas but the main one is on the roof just above the drivers side door and the other is in the centre right at the back of the cab
Very nice! Honestly, I think the D Series should have it be mounted like most American trucks, passenger side on the fender. I haven't seen any with mountings like the person above is asking for, atleast not from the era the D Series is from.
