So to kick everything off, I decided to pick the full circuit configuration of Hirochi Raceway. The car we will be using is the Hirochi Sunburst. RULES: 1. You must use the full circuit Hirochi Raceway scenario. 2. To get your time to officially count, you must post a screenshot of the end scenario time or a video of your run. 3. No vehicle or engine mods can be used on your car. YOU CAN ONLY USE PARTS FROM THE BASE GAME. 4. For this week's event, any tuning is allowed. 5. You can only have one time on the leaderboard. If you get a better time, it overwrites your old one. Feel free to keep trying at it! Good luck, and happy racing! The event officially ends at 23:59 on 8/4/2016 EST. OFFICIAL TIMES: Instant Winrar; 1:28.26 Mark90000; 1:30.31 -randy-; 1:33.88 needcraft; 1:34.07 Jorlman; 1:38.38 1185323118; 1:38.82 CaptianW; 1:48.74 EDIT: Congrats to Instant Winrar for winning the event with an insane time of 1:28.26! --- Post updated --- 1:31.99 is my time on my custom tuned Sunburst. 1:30.31 is my time on my ultimate weight reduction Sunburst. If you want my custom tunes, PM me.
Yeah. You can swap out suspension parts, wheels, even take the turbo off. Just every part you use on the car needs to be from the base game. (e.g. No V10 engine in the Sunburst)
I can't even do this....I guess i'll wait until there's something easier...(Like Matrix Freeway Sprint or something?)
The config is for the Sunburst and in order to select it you need to load it from the CTRL-W menu. It's called HirochiWk1.
First, disable competitive scenarios in the options. Then, use CTRL+W then go to the Save+Load tab to load your custom config.
Removed some parts to reduce weight (sides of front splitter, lights, and rollcage), and changed the 6th gear's ratio a tad bit. Using the Hill Climb variant. 1:31:80
Ok, standard HillClimb, 1:38.38 For those using wheels, how the hell do you do to not shit yourselves on the chicanes at the ending??
Yeah, I hold 3rd gear and go half-gas until the last curve into the final straight where I go full throttle, but I always have the feeling that the car is going to take off... Feeling like a noob to be honest, hah
I'm getting closer. Missed the apex coming off the long straight and slid my front through the next corner, but I'm almost there! --- Post updated --- Finally got there!
I didn't tune anything, just stripped off parts. Also put down another lap 2 hundredths off of that one just now, I'm sure I can get into the 1:29 range.
