I wouldn't be surprised if people have started to swap out the bumpers and the headlights to make them Petrol/Nismo. Also V6 model will be available soon for the Patrol, should be interesting to see how it's gonna pull the 2700-ish Kg Y62.
The final Ford Falcon Ute rolled off the production line today, the end of the original ute. A devastating day indeed. Rest In Peace Falcon ute. The final Falcon sedan will come off the line in October. The final Holden ute is to roll off the production line next year.
How to sell a 9+ year old car: Step 1: Be Mitubishi Step 2: Facelift the current Lancer Step 3: ??? Step 4. PROFIT!
OK, it looks like Kent Police's Mustang is purely a show piece. It has only been seen at shows and police open days. Maybe it will get a run with the fleet of Interceptor Subarus and BMWs, but I doubt it now. EDIT: Especially as it hasn't been registered as a police car yet. My guess is that they realised that the Kent motorway network has some bends in it!
See, what a lot of people don't realize is that the Mustang is not a straight-line-only car anymore. I've even heard of the later S197 GTs and Boss 302s being comparable to the E92 M3 in terms of handling prowess, and the new one should logically be even better.
Oh, I know it is quite the capable car now. However it will always have the reputation (and the joke will stick!)
It is real but the are rumors it will only be sold in China while the Lancer we all know a̶n̶d̶ ̶l̶o̶v̶e̶ is going to be killed off
They already killed the one semi-worthwhile car they sold here, the Lancer Evo. Now they're withdrawing from the segment entirely. RIP Mitsubishi's US operation.
You do realize that's just a Design Study Concept right? Mitsubishi hasn't officially announced that the Eclipse is coming back, nor have I found any info of them saying so in magazines or online whatsoever besides that concept design three designers from Kyrgyzstan did up for apparently fun and how they imagined how a current Eclipse would look, had Mitsubishi not killed it off.
falcon ute officially dead, i think they want you to buy rangers. Ford hasnt announced any replacement utes.
Were utes just not selling? It seems like a pretty drastic swing from an Australian staple to everyone stopping production at once.
I believe all the cars companies in Aus are closing, forgot why but this includes Toyota,Holden and others.. Inb4 utes become rare because everyone are importing them.
