Please stop! Both of you, i had the phone ringing because of you two, i accept any suggestion, and is not a problem if someone posts lot of them. If you want you can join my group (link on overview) this is real spamming
Probably already known/already reported: the driveshaft of the custom AWD system for the 1996 Pessima runs right through the exhaust pipe, causing clipping issues.
I see. Your configurations are probably fine and dandy, the problem is on my end! I simply selected the AWD rear axle from the parts selector for one of the official configs, but I didn't check for any alternative exhaust to use with them. Thanks (and awesome job btw, there so much great stuff in this pack!)
Just found your mod recently. And first time use today. well....I have a little suggestion(I don't know have anybody already suggest that, but I still going to anyway).......how about make rename the Covet K-spec. After all,a K-car have to be under certain L/W/H(3.4/1.48/2m) and displacement size(660cc)....which is all smaller than Covet's spec, which make Covet can be a K-car
With the help of Wikipedia, I have more car ideas, based on equipment of real versions: - A 325 HP 8.0 V10 D35, H35 and H45. The D35 and H45 would have a heavy duty 3-speed auto or 4-speed manual with that engine, while the H35 would have a 4-speed auto with that powerplant, - A Gavril D15 Blacksport, with an 8-liter engine making 350 HP, a 3/4-speed auto/4-speed manual and an appearance close to the Chevrolet 454 SS, but with more black details, - A 6.4 l NA diesel (165 HP) and 4.1 l turbodiesel (140 HP) D15 and D25, - A 4-speed (K-spec, Base, DX, 3-cylinder) and 6-speed (GTz) Covet manual, - A 6.5 V8 Bruckell Moonhawk, with about 15% better performance than the current 5.9 V8, - A 0.66 (30 HP) and 0.8 (40 HP) carburetted petrol engine Pigeon, - A 5-speed automatic version of the I6 Roamer, - A luxury Eddie Bauer-style trim for the Pigeon, - A 265 ci I6 for the Barstow, making 157 HP, - A Gavril Barstow E (basic I6, but detuned for fuel economy and with taller gears), - A Barstow Grandtour, with a black roof and more comfortable suspension, - A 360 HP ETK 856 ttsport Heritage, with 350 HP, stripes and a carbon fibre roof, - An ETK 854tde, an 854td with an engine detuned for fuel economy and taller gears, - A 3-speed non-syncromesh manual for the Miramar 1100, 1300 and 1600 and also their diesel versions, with the 1600 only having it in Base trim. And some config ideas: - A Polish taxi (signs in Polish, so you could give me sign drafts and I would point errors out) based on the ETK 2400td, - Different German police variants of the ETK 2400i, based on the 854td's variants, - An European ETK 854tde taxi, - A Highway Patrol Ibishu Pessima GTz, - A Highway Patrol Gavril Barstow 423 Roadsport automatic, - British police versions of the Ibishu Miramar 1.6 and GTz, - Test drive dealer demonstration car skins for the ETKs and Hirochi Sunburst, - Stunt car Bruckell Moonhawk and Gavril Barstow V8, with a rollcage, no windows, no exhaust and softer suspension, - A Russian police Gavril Grand Marshall.
Well, just tested one of the pre-made configurations (LX V6 AWD) and... contrarily to what I said before, the pre-set exhaust is still the original one, so the pipe runs over the driveshaft. Also worth mentioning that the rerouted exhaust for AWS (couldn't find one specific for AWD) works fine with the driveshaft, but clips through the reshaped fuel tank. Curiously enough, the original fuel tank is somewhat better in this case - just sitting above the driveshaft and causing only minor clipping. Every other exhaust option works fine, but most of them seems rather unsuitable for an AWD family car.
Sad but important post, my next update will be the last for this mod, in my next year there is only a remote possibility that i could work on the mod. Time changes and my next aim will be studying for becoming an automotive engineer, passing from digital cars to real cars. I took this decision not only because i have no time to update my mod with continuous updates but also because i could not improve myself. My modelling work has stopped and many of my ideas (widebody covet, targa bolide and car parts) could not be made because my development skill has just come to a stop, i hope i could finish this update, that will bring the total car number to 450. The doubt is whether to call this update 0.6 or 1.0? Said that the mod won't die @wrinkle345 and my team will do their best in order to update this mod for future updates. Thanks for the support in these intense months. The update will be released in the last days of August
