WIP Citroen C4 Picasso

Some time ago I decided to learn some basic modeling in Blender and tried to create some impression of my car.
I would like to ask community whether there is a sence to spent some time trying to create model of this car for BeamNG, or this type of vehicle is not so interesting?

• added solid body jbeam
• made wheels more deformable
• adjustments to brakes and abs setup
• minor 3d model updates
• initial experiments with collision triangles
• updated wheels models

I'm not setting any limitations on reuse of any part of this project under "Do what ever you want" license.

there's nothing I love more in a game than a car that in real life I could not care less about. I think especially in NG, the more generic and common the car is then the better it will be

Despise this POS so much that I'll be glad to use a semi to crash into it infinitely forever. Should be very satisfying.

i have a xsara coupe, they were the car before the c4 and I would gladly crash it!

I would say if you didn't make your Picasso..... make another citreon, French cars deserve to be destroyed

i aggree we have a berlingo i just wanna smash it (and then race it quite fast for a 90hp diesel)

 

I think it needs to be higher, it just looks squashed :S

Why are you promoting your own model in someone else's thread?

 

That isn't necessarily promotion of his model, since it's not actually released (to my knowledge).

Some progress was made. Done with outer shapes, started to squeeze some inside shapes. Still no interior work whatsoever.

 

Can't wait to destroy it.

 

Looks great, not much smoothing needed to be to it. I like the last image, kinda looks futuristic,

 

I'm not waiting to crash it, I'm waiting to test it's suspension
