A two stroke would be more historically accurate, assuming Gabe is making something more similar to the first generation design, or even a kei car at all (could be planning on anything from a Willys Jeep to newer SUV based on what he said). Kei cars were only allowed 360cc before 1976 so two stroke was really the only way to get enough power. While I personally would love a two stroke, it may require better exhaust simulation and, as I said before, the Pigeon isn't historically accurate as-is. I don't know, I'm just writing as I think. It's up to Gabe.

The looks of a vehicle can be a mixture of all sorts of things. For instance, when I started this thread, I figured that it would look something of a cross between a Suzuki Samurai and a Daihatsu Rocky. There can be the rear windows of a Bronco II in it if Gabe wants; everything is possible. These are just the ideas of people on the community. Ask yourself this, why would a Japanese manufacturer, such as Toyota, make an American styled and sized pickup (Tundra) to sell in the market in the United States even though they're Japanese? Well, to peak people's interests and to gain more money by expanding their horizons to what a certain market wants. So, if the Sparrow had a small hint of a Bronco II, maybe its for the reason of the fictional BeamNG market.

Who says it is ibishu. exhaust sim won't need changing much for 2 stroke, we just need ability to have the bluer hue to exhaust from the oil burning and also falling oil level with fuel. Not technically a trait of all 2 strokes but would apply to the variety relevant here (crankcase scavenged and valveless)
Since we're on the topic of 2 stroke engines, 2-stroke engines require special 2-stroke oil to be mixed in directly with the fuel. Each 2-stroke engine is designed to run on a specific mixture of oil-gas. For example, this 2-stroke engine is required a 50:1 oil-fuel mixture. Some lawnmowers will require a 32:1 oil-fuel mixture. In Jalopy, the Laika 601 Deluxe requires a drop, which is 29.57 ml.

False, you love quoting my posts to give incorrect info. crankcase scavenged two strokes need lubrication in fuel, not all do though. Many also don't need it adding to the tank and have a separate oil tank, car mixes for you Either way, the suzuki of the era was crankcase scavenged (as are lawn mowers) and premixed. Though detroit diesels of the era were also 2 stroke, were roots blown, had a closed loop oil system that did not involve oil being burned with the fuel
I love the idea of a small 4X4 as Italy is comming up and i would imagine the Roamer would be too big to fit through the narrow town streets. I would imagine that it would be a hirochi.
I agree with you. The upcoming Italy map would not be a very fitting place for a Roamer. So, a little 4x4 like this would be great. It would fit nicely on the roads. Whether it's an Ibishu or a Hirochi, its still going to be a great little vehicle.
It could be a European-inspired design as well à la Land Rover, G-Series, VW Iltis, VW Thing, etc. It's hard to say whether or not they're ready to push out a new brand seeing as ETK isn't suited to off-road vehicles. If not, it'll definitely be Japanese, likely Ibishu. Hopefully right-hand drive
Considering the Roamer's largely based off of an Explorer of sorts. It's not that really unusual to see something like that in Italy or in Europe in general. Uncommon yes, but you'd be surprised at what you'd find. Even the older gen Explorers were actually made in RHD form for the UK and Australian markets as well But back onto topic, I'd also want to see something of a midsized late 80's to mid-late-ish 90's SUV, roughly the same size as the Roamer, if not a little smaller, based on a Toyota 4Runner/ Hilux Surf, Nissan Pathfinder/Terrano or that one Isuzu Rodeo SUV with the several re-badges. Engines could be either a diesel 4cyl with or without a turbo, or a mid range V6. Ibishu, or Hirochi, or unless gabe has another secret up his sleeves and introduces another Japanese brand, but who knows. sorrynotsorryforlongpost
I have seen a few second gen Exploders here in New Zealand. I wouldn't mind one for a mud bogger irl.
I do like the idea of having a similar vehicle to a Japanese 90s SUV, like the Hilux Surf or the Terrano. But, we do need a small to mid-sized SUV in the game, while the Roamer may look like the mid-sized Explorer of the 90s-early 00s, it is based off of the full-sized D-Series. Whether Ibishu or Hirochi, I believe it needs to be Japanese so we can put it underwater if we want and have it not hydrolock, or throw it off a building and have it drive almost like normal (Top Gear reference). Everyone's ideas are welcome here. I enjoy hearing about all of them.
You're forgetting the wrecking ball, tree, and fire. Shame they've never officially sold the Hilux here in Canada. You see them in right hand drive a lot though.
That's more or less what I'm going for with the second generation. The Tracker is a badge-engineered Suzuki Sidekick.
