On Hold Volvo 850-855 1990-2000'

You could call me unreasonably excited

1997 850 GLT (2.4L Light pressure turbo, 190HP stock 6PSI max) - manual swapped (M56H), S60R Injectors (Greens), OBX catless exhaust, tune, and a manual boost controller @ 10PSI.

Cosmetics - black trim, 18x8 Pegasus "R" Wheels, R bumper coming soon.

Fun fact: my parents bought it brand new in 96 and it has been in my family since. I bought it off my brother a few years back and decided to give car modification a try (the picture with the engine bar is from the manual swap).

Press F to pay respects to the blue 96 850 GLT that lost its life in a rear ending that donated its M56 to make my car more fun.

Thanks man. It's definitely a financially stupid idea for me to be keeping it alive, but I love it more than anything else.

 

Just a tiny update, its beginning to feel like the exterior is done soon... blinkers are almost done, just need to add the reflectors inside and i also added an ANTENNA because.... why not May do a sunroof and i do have to finish off the rest of the lights, aswell as finishing the side mirrors. I have got to say a big thank you for everyones support and patiente once again, without you guys i wouldn't have come this far!

This car really starts to look better and better! I can't wait till it's in the game with a nice color typical Volvo color on it. Love it

Now THAT is a good idea, would like lots of reference pictures for that atleast, and when i come to the point that the interior will be made i can use them..

Also, the 97 GLT has the boost gaugeless gauge cluster, but it has a 190HP turbo engine.

Looking pretty nice so far! Seems you have quite the motivation for this, which is a great thing to see. Hopefully the same thing will be true when it comes to JBeaming

 

You should make a version with the Angel Eyes. It looks nice imo.
