I do legitimately remember something taking 27 seconds to get to 60.

The 1982 Pontiac 1000 took MotorWeek 30 seconds to reach 60mph. That was with a gas engine tho.

I have a 1987 Celica Convertible with a slushy 3 speed auto with overdrive and it took 16 seconds to 60. My station wagon has the same engine but has a 5 speed and it gets to 60 in 10

Yep i know, and also the "good cop" the "bad detective" and the "smoky bandit" is a little bit like the "good the bad and the ugly". So the "Boaty and the Beast".
It was intentional random improvisation :p

Also apologizes for the lack of replies or news, i had a lot of restoration work to do in my house to finish a new worshop for me to work in, while it was the hottest days of the year.
So a bit tired but i will answer the unanswered posts, as well as post some new stuff pretty quick.

Are some of you interested in WIP, mesh and texture work ? I have plenty of screenshots, photoshop and blender caps, and i started to sort them. If interested i could post some details of this one year work.

For some reason i thought that you reused the moonhawk bucket seats and dashboard.

Not at all, the interior is completly specific to the cars, and i tried to make it look like the real one.
Also 98 Regency and Delta 88 have different inner door panels.

I had the Moonhawk interior at the beginning, it gave structure to the project, then i replaced the parts by mine.
I can show you a bit of all those process, i have to prepare the posts, but i'll be happy to share.

As it was asked, here's a little snapshot of the dashboard.

With working lights, for some of them you'll need to flood the car into water :D because they weren't available as function in the official cars and are connected to the engine damage yet.
But the brakes, low fuel, gen buttons work (actually the gen is connected to the headlights, just like my car does it now)

    And the working needles

Gauges lights, and working warning signals and High Beam light.

I won't post more interior untill the Wip posts are ready. In a few days.

Surprised that no one has mentioned the Olds wagon used in Lethal Weapon 2.
