I think Katrina was the worst. That was a category 5. It got so bad that it damaged a railroad bridge and track 7 miles off the coast. That's why Amtrak suspended service to Florida on the Sunset Limited. I think it is still suspended but they are talking about plans to reinstate it.
When Katrina hit it was a cat 3 or cat 4. I think that the flood walls were weak and outdated, thats why it got so bad. i think the worst hurricane was either Andrew or Allen but thats my opinion.
Patricia didn't do that much, for a Cat 5, sure it was the most strongest Cat 5 but I mean based on how much damage the hurricane did and how much it costed, etc
Oh well money-wise, I think it was Sandy who did the most. As Sandy did 62 Billion in the US and 325 million in the Caribbean @Dealercrash
Actually Sandy is in 2nd place. Katrina is in first. Sandy did $65 billion while Katrina did $108 billion.
