Not entirely sure what I think of the front bumper. Work is definitely still needed in order to add more depth and detail into this.

The bumper still needs things like a logo and fog lights etc.

Guys. Crankshaft is nestled deep within the engine, not a puny thing dangling on the side. Alternator is linked to the belt system on the front.

its the starter motor, if you look its also lined up with where the flywheel will be. It will have to be retained on the V engine, though can at least be rotated further around (so long as distance from crank centre remains same)

Wowee! That is the Sparrow! That is fantastic! I really like the look of it! The front especially. Will there be a left hand drive variant too? I cannot believe you've taken the idea from my forum post and actually made it a thing! That's awesome! I've been eyeing the progress you've made so far on this page. It looks fantastic!

I cannot wait to drive this Sparrow. I have a few ideas in mind that I hope you can consider. Maybe we could have a series of engines, such as a three cylinder diesel engine derived from the Pigeon, a regular four stroke four cylinder gasoline engine and maybe a two stroke three or four cylinder diesel or gasoline engine? It is your mod, so you should decide what happens to it. I thank you for bringing what could be an epic small off road car to virtual reality.

Thanks for the kind words! Im planning on a left hand drive version
3 cylinder turbo diesel was the first engine i made :p (thanks to @NismoR35 for helping me with the choice and being very helpful overall). I also have a twin turbo v8.

    also,
more progress. Mirrors and mocked out a rear spare tire. Also added the rear bumper

The Sparrow is coming along nicely, will this have a solid front and rear axle setup?

Just a small update to show the front bumper but with depth, also enlarged and fixed up the headlights a little, still need rounding off a bit though. Still need to finish off rounding some areas and removing sharp lines. Changed the dimensions of the interior slightly as well, still need door panels though.

This time in 4k with 2x the samples!
