    Hello,

I made a inputmap for Logitech G27 Racing Wheel which include all buttons and I want to share it with you.
I've added comments to make it easier to change the options for each button so look inside input file (edit with notepad++ or wordpad)
Just copy file from attachment to BeamNG-Techdemo-0.3\scripts\client\inputmaps
    Also included images of mapping.

    Enjoy

I uploaded new version because of dead zones. A small but important change.

    Thanks for the input map!

Can you change the steering rotation to something like 200 degrees?

I don't like it to turn the whole steering wheel.

thanks for the inputmap! Works great (and easy as I'm new to this)!

To lower steering rotation use the Logitech Profiler, set it to whatever you want. I always use ~320° for everything except for iRacing.

. I have not really tried to hook my wheel to the PS3. I can tell you this that, it is not working correctly with the PC. On the PS3 do you just plug it in and go?? I saw on youtube someone using it on Grid. I have Grid but could not see how to use the wheel. When ya go to options, it does not have a wheel setting to switch to?

I noticed that. I wish the developers would add a section to options so we can easily change the controls and the device you are using like in all the other games instead of these rediculous inputmaps that are overly complicated, (on my opinion) and are hard to use. I wish they would just make things simpler. :/

I would like to use this but I have a G25. Can you make the controls work on a Logitech G25 Racing Wheel.

I totally agree. I could totally figure out the programming language the Beamng input maps use, but from the peek i took at the code for a Beamng input map, it's going to be worse figuring out the Beamng programming code than RoR ever was. No offense to the developers, but if a developer reads this, could you at least consider trying to revive the RoR input mapper in Beamng? It would save so much time and help people hook up their favorite controllers so much easier...and it might even bring in more customers! Simply the existence of a working input mapper alone would draw me into buying Beamng a second time over!

We have a to-do list a mile long right now. A user-friendly device configurator is planned, but we are not working on it yet.

Its C#, and basic C# at that. All that would have taken you to work out would be to google ".cs", I on the other hand already program in C# so yeah...

TorqueScript actually, but that is derived from C#. And yes, it is basic, so basic that even some non-programmers can understand...

also wondering if theres a way to fake wheel weight with the logitech profiler & if so, what the best way is? ive tried enabling the center spring but it doesnt work for some reason.

An easy way to do this is to rename the new input map to the name of the wheel, then make a folder called "custom" inside the input maps folder specifically and then drag it into there. The game should check that upon startup before it checks the other input maps normally inside the main directory of this folder.

I feel like a complete idiot. But I just read the thread and I have no clue of what you are talking about. Sorry

I have a G27, but I only get the steering andAccelerator to work. Brake and reverse is somehow combined, clutch is dead and I have no clue on how to get to manual.

I found some kind of setup page in the game, but it wont let me configure anything.

Jeez, when I read this i really sound like an idiot. Anyone who might be able to help this idiot? :D
