Will we ever get a derby race where you race in beater cars (Barstow awful, Moonhawk terrible) and have a full contact race around a dirt circuit

Note: Is it always needed for the mod updates, that you need to unistall the mod first and then download the newer version ? Because, I firstly just downloaded new version, but it didn't work. I then deleted the mod from the game and the bnse-mod as well and reinstalled both, then it worked.

 

it's fun to play the scenario's! but there's something wrong with the random and the carnage mode, couse it spawns 4 cones everytime!
-update- was still running the game while installing the mod. just had to restart the game. XD

 

I always restart the game after every mod download, since the mods are not working properly before restart.

Make sure you have the latest update, and also make sure you have bnse.

 

For the most part, everything works, but the orbit camera is very wonky. It will not properly follow the car, and does not work as it should.

 

It also doesn't work when you click "Retry" after the scenario.

 

did you install bnse?

note i havent tried this so it could actually be broken

 

Someone told me that bnse is broken, but I haven't looked to see why yet.

 

Yes, I do have bnse. It worked fine before the update that changed the scenarios. The derby AI doesn't reset when you choose Retry anymore; they just sit there.

No problem. In hindsight I can see that.

 

I'm having 2 specific issues with both random scenarios. At first isntance from loading the scenario, the AI works sometimes. It either works, or all vehicles stay still. When i hit "I" to reset the scenario, the vehicles never move again. Second issue is the vehicles don't change anymore after hitting "I", as it used to in the previous version(s).

 

Long time no update?? I am sure you are too busy for fix "random" cars problem after 0.7+ update messed up with Demolition Derby...I'm wondering...

UPDATE: A month later....still no update and still don't work on 0.8 :/

 

AI is again doing nothing after the new update, everything else works thou. It's always so damn frustrating, that the AI is the one not working after updates.
